It’s not what you’re thinking.

How could he know what we were thinking? All I got from David was that stupid text right after I tried to call him. He has been avoiding our calls since. I was tempted to drive out to his house and demand answers from him, but Sin’s excitement for our trip prevented me from doing that.

She had been the one asking questions about Kate. She was right about worrying about Kate. Somehow she had managed to worm her way into David’s life.

If Bella hadn’t seen them, would David have ever told us? He said it was not what we were thinking, so if they weren’t trying to tear us apart, what was it then? Were they dating? It would tear our friendship apart if she ended up being his mate.
