Chapter 7

‘Today is a hell of lot of work…’ 

Tanya thought to herself as she sighs, she took her phone and open it. There, you can see Kyla as her lock screen. Seeing her sister’s face, Tanya smile as she turns her phone. ‘But that’s okay! For Kyla, this is nothing’ she thought to herself as she’s being optimistic.

“Tanvi! Give this drink to table 15” the bartender called Tanya over.  Tanya left the room behind the bartender station; she saw the bartender is extremely busy due to having customers come and go.

“Yes sir!” Tanya subconsciously salutes the bartender causing him to widen his eyes before laughing at her.

“Don’t tense boy! Later in the evening will be more chaotic!” The bartender smacks Tanya’s back as he laughs.

Tanya could only hold back the cough with a stiff smile on her face, she took the tray and went to table 15.

The customer was normal, Tanya and the customer were having a small talk before thanking her and Tanya excusing herself.

‘They’re normal than that lady earlier’ she thought to herself as she took the tray and walk out.

Just as she headed back to the bar station, she heard vague voices in the corner of the room. At first, she ignores it as it was not her business but she couldn’t ignore the shouting with anger on the person’s voice.

Tanya slowly and quietly walks to the voice; she breathes quietly as she eavesdrops on the conversation.

“You b*tch! I’m asking you nicely and this is how you respond!” it was a man’s voice that Tanya heard, hearing the man’s sentence, she speculated that the man is hitting on the woman.

Feeling that it was just a man hitting on a woman, she decided to go back to the bar station not until she heard the woman’s voice.

“Let go of me” a woman’s cold voice was heard as if she’s unbothered by the man’s shouting.

Tanya was slightly stunned by the woman’s indifferent voice, she decided to slightly peek to see what was happening. Her eyes slightly widen as she saw the woman had silver hair and a straight nose although she couldn’t see her face fully as she could only see the side of her face, she instinctively knew that she’s gorgeous.

The man was pissed off by the woman’s indifference as it was not going what he thinks would happen. He raised his other hand while the other was holding the woman’s wrist, he smiles as he actions to hit the woman, thinking that the woman would flinch.

But the woman only looks at the man with her cold eyes, as if she’s not afraid of getting hit. To her surprise, a deep yet had a slightly feminine voice sounded.

“Hey! You, sir, stop your action!” Tanya shouted as she took a step, appearing to the two people as she stretches out her hand to stop the man from any more action.

The woman looks at Tanya with slight surprise on her face. Finally, Tanya could see the woman’s face, the woman’s face gave off an aloof aura, her face was stunning and Tanya was dazed for a second before coming back to reality.

“Haaa?! Who are you to interfere with our conversation?!” the man shouted as he scowls at Tanya. Although the man’s face was a bit handsome, at this moment, Tanya felt disgusting to the man’s action to the woman as she is also a woman.

“Sir, violence is forbidden in our building, if you proceed to hurt or attempt hurting our customer, I’m afraid we will kick you out” Tanya calmly informed the rules of the club as straightened out her posture, she didn’t forget to deepen her voice and look at the man.

“I’ll show you what violence is!!” The man is extremely annoyed at everything as his plan wasn’t going as he thinks, he raised his fist and attempt to punch Tanya.

Before the man could punch her, Tanya took the tray and place it on her palm. She then holds the tray and slams it to the man’s face, causing him to fly 1 meter away from them.

The man cough as he sat up, he touches his face and glares at Tanya while growling. Tanya coldly looks at him before patting the side of the tray where it hit the man’s face.

“Sir, your action only led you to this situation, do not look at me like that as you force me to use self-defense” Tanya explained to the man who looks as if he wanted to butcher Tanya in the spot, her voice was calm as a sea as she spoke to the man.

The woman beside Tanya was slightly dumbfounded as this thin and innocent-looking man could smack a fit man. She looks at the man with a red face at the side of his face and blood dripping to his nose before looking at Tanya who only looks at the man with slight coldness in her eyes.

“Miss, please come with me for your safety” Tanya could finally look at the woman, her cold look quickly disappeared in instant as soon as she removes her gaze from the man who are sitting on the floor.

The woman looks at Tanya with slight amusement, she then walks forward with Tanya on her back.

“Thank you” The woman thanks Tanya as she looks back to look at her, her voice was soothing and elegant.

“Your Welcome miss” Tanya smile at her, she put the tray to her side. “Then, please excuse me” Tanya excuse herself as she slightly bowed down with her other hands on her chest, she then turns her body to leave but stop when the woman spoke.

“You, what’s your name?” The woman asks.

“Tanvi, Tanvi Elsher miss” Tanya looks back to the woman and stated her fake name to her, she then bows again before walking out.

The woman looks at Tanya’s back departing, she looks at her watch before walking towards the manager’s room.

‘Tanvi Elsher…he might be the perfect fit but I need to check his background first’ the woman thought to herself as she walks.
