Chapter 7

*The sound of the door*

Clever was relieved when they entered the shop, but Clever immediately felt strangely annoyed again, he had just seen the man's face this early in the morning and now they are facing each other again!

"Jace, why are you here? Are you feeling okay and you're luring around?" worried friend asked the man, and holding Jace's forehead.

"Grrrr! touching him again e?" 

Clever barked and the man was backed away from his friend. 

"Your dog is too territorial, but there's nothing he can do when you're sick." The man sound like joking but Clever knew that the man was insulting him as if the he knew that he was not just a normal dog.

The man sat down next to his dog and hugged him.

"Hey! Don't talk to Cutie like that, you can't help but accept him because from now on he's my partner."Man defending his dog.

"So you're going to leave me because of the dog just like that? You're making me upset." said the friend and glanced at the dog.

"Don't be jealous, find yours too," the man advised his friend with a laugh.

"Wow, you really want me to look for someone else to be with. Are you sure that dog won't leave you today, Tomorrow, Or in the next few days?"

Jace was silent for a moment, the man wasn't sure that the dog wouldn't leave him but he couldn't imagine or think that it would leave him either.

"What was that, I don't know if you really want me to be happy! You're ruining the moment." Jace replied shyly to his friend, his friend held his head like a dog. 

"hush!I was just kidding." he said softly to Jace, Clever hissed, he was angry from what he saw.

"All right! Flirting! I thought we came here to buy my stuff? Ha! are you just even made me an excuse just to see your dear friend." annoyed Clever's complaint to himself.

"I don't know if you really want me to be happy! You're ruining the moment." Jace replied shyly to his friend.

Frio pat his head like a dog. 

"hush! Darling, I was just kidding." Man said softly to Jace, acting sweet while the dog is watching them.

"All right! Flirt guys, I thought we came here to buy my stuff? Ha! He even made me an excuse just to see his dear friend." annoyed Clever's complaint to himself.

Suddenly the dog smelled a familiar smell, one of his people was here!

Since Jace's attention was not on the dog, he slowly left his side and looked for where the smell would go. 

"Where his he." Clever luring around in the shop.

One of his men was there and looked at the dogs one by one. 

"What stupidity is he doing?" Clever asked himself, he knew he had told his people that he was in the form of a wolf, but he didn't think that they would find him in every pet shop and will check the dogs one by one!

Clever felt a little pity for his people, was he that dear to them to go through each Pet shop one by one? 

he wanted to embrace them.

He approached it and bite the man's pants, the man immediately turned to his and the eyes widened.

"Masteeeer!" its weak cry and hugged him. He quickly slipped out of it's embrace, he wasn't comfortable with skinships except to Jace, he couldn't complaint to the man.

"S-sorry Master, I'm just happy to see you, did you know how many Petshop I already checked? And by the way how did you get here? Who the hell put a rope around your neck!" successive question of the man.

"Can you lower your voice? People will think you're crazy!" Clever's advice to the man. 

The man immediately looked around and there were a few who glanced at where they are, so he quickly covered his face.

"S-sorry Master, maybe we can talk outside." The man said and stood up, the man was about to pull the lash attached to his Master's neck when someone suddenly stopped his hand.

"What do you think you're doing? Why are you taking my dog?" Jace looked angry as he said that, the man immediately turned to the dog and looked back at the man who said it was his dog.

He frowned, not knowing what was happening!

"W-what do you mean your dog? i-it's a dog I know, to be exact it's my boss's dog. He's been looking for it for a long time." Clever's man making an excused to Jace.

"What's your proof that you're telling the truth? I saw that dog in the trash and it was full of wounds. So your boss hurt that dog?" Jace said seriously to the man.

Clever and the man immediately looked at each other. 

"He's the one who helped me, just go with the flow." Clever command.

The dog barked and the Man's face wrinkled and nodded. 

"Ha! If you don't want to believe go ahead, but I'll get your contract info so my boss and I can visit you." said the man, Jace didn't know if he would give his number, it's a good thing his friend came over. 

"Just get my contract info, he's my friend and the dog is often here." he answered the conversation.

Again the man looked at the dog and again the dog barked. 

"Just get the number and keep it." Again Clever command.

"Okay." The man quickly agreed and took Jace's friend's contract info and left.

Jace quickly approached the dog.

"Why are you suddenly disappearing next to me! You worried me so much, I thought you left me!" Jace complained to the dog, that's how Clever felt pity for Jace.

It is obvious here that it does not want to be left behind.

He wagged his tail and rub his head to  Jace.

"My, my. Can't help to feel pity, you look like a child, Darling." Said Clever while still comforting the man.

Jace's friend closed the shop early because they had an agreement that he would have dinner with them there. Even if Clever doesn't want to, he can't do anything.

"There you go guys, I'll just cook." The man said as they entered the house. Clever and Frio were left while watching.

"Jace was so precious, I won't let him to be in danger." Frio suddenly said like it was for Clever.

Clever was confused because it's like there's something behind those words but when he turned to the man, Frio just smiled at him.
