August's POV

I feel cold while standing here in the meeting area that looks like a big and luxurious living room. There are also soldiers there that you think are statues because they don't move and I still haven't seen them blink. Here we are in the seat which is more like a corner seat but we chose to stand.

We were all silent. It doesn't look like we're all tense, but I feel like I want to run. Lucas with a frown on his face because he was walked inside the palace and had to run to reach us. I didn't think the palace was that big inside. It doesn't seem like it can last a whole day. A service golf car is still needed to get to the course quickly. Well, that's not a problem with Cayden because they know how to teleport, but what about me?
