The strange, ancient heat surging through Elias’s blood was no longer just power; it was a wildfire demanding a release that shattered every remaining thread of his control. His breath came ragged, his chest heaving as the scent of Cassian’s dark cedar and ozone surged over him like an intoxicating wave. The battlefield, the fleeing rogues, the dark secrets all of it paled in comparison to the blinding, primal pull binding him to the king.

Cassian’s eyes flared an incandescent gold as the stranger vanished into the shadows. He didn't order a pursuit. Instead, he spun around, his sword clattering heavily against the stone courtyard as he stalked toward Elias. In two brutal strides, Cassian closed the distance, shoving Elias backward until his spine slammed against the cold, unyielding stone of the estate’s outer archway.

"Cassian" Elias gasped, but the rest of his words were consumed as Cassian’s mouth crashed over his with ruthless, possessive fury.

It wasn't a gentle touch; it was an act of absolute conquest. Cassian grabbed Elias by the jaw, his fingers digging deep, thrusting his tongue into Elias’s mouth to claim every inch of him. Elias let out a broken groan, his arms whipping around Cassian’s neck, pulling the massive king flush against him. The friction of their bodies was agonizing. Elias could feel the rock-hard, heavy ridge of Cassian’s length pressing through their clothes, pulsing with a terrifying, heavy beat right against his hip.

"You think you can awaken like that in front of me and expect me to stand still?" Cassian growled against his lips, his voice a low, animalistic vibration that sent electricity straight to Elias’s core. "Your ancient blood... your wolf... it belongs to me."

"Prove it," Elias whimpered, completely undone, his hips jerking helplessly against Cassian's. "Claim me before they tear us apart."

Cassian didn't hesitate. With a harsh, tearing sound, he ripped open Elias’s trousers, exposing his bare, flushed hips to the cold night air. His broad, calloused hand slipped down, holding Elias’s heat, dragging his thumb over the sensitive, dripping head of his aching shaft. Elias threw his head back against the stone, a loud, shameless cry echoing into the dark.

Without waiting, Cassian spat into his own palm, slicking two thick fingers, and drove them deep into Elias in one hard, fluid stroke.

Elias screamed, his legs instantly wrapping around Cassian’s waist as his tight, virgin heat stretched around the violent intrusion. Cassian scissored his fingers mercilessly, curling them upward to hit the sweet, sensitive center inside Elias over and over until Elias was crying out his name, his body shaking with genuine pleasure.

"Look at me," Cassian demanded, his thumb ruthlessly crushing Elias's leak-slicked tip as his fingers stretched him wide. "You are my mate. Heir to a throne or not, I will mark you so deeply no king or rogue will ever dare touch you."

"Cassian, please!" Elias sobbed, his internal muscles gripping Cassian's fingers tightly, begging for the full weight of his Alpha.

Cassian pulled his hand back, freed his thick, heavy length, and lined the broad, pre cum glistening head directly against Elias’s frantic entrance. Gripping Elias’s thighs with a force that would leave dark bruises, Cassian shoved his hips forward, burying himself to the root in one deep, brutal thrust.

A shattered, breathless cry tore from Elias’s throat as his body stretched to capacity, taking all of Cassian’s massive size. His inner walls clamped around the intrusion like a burning vise. Cassian groaned a deep, guttural sound of pure triumph before he began to move, pounding into Elias with a relentless, punishing rhythm.

Each hard, heavy drive of Cassian’s hips slammed into Elias's deepest core, the wet, slapping sound of their skin mingling with the distant chaos of the estate. Cassian drove him higher and higher, his teeth sinking into the crook of Elias’s neck, biting down hard enough to draw a copper taste of blood as he marked him temporarily, filling Elias with the terrifying, intoxicating high of the mate bond.

"You're mine," Cassian growled into his skin, his thrusts turning wild, shallow, and fast, hammering Elias into the stone wall until Elias was seeing stars. "Say it, Elias!"

"I'm yours! Yours!" Elias screamed, his body coiling tight.

With a final, devastating thrust that buried Cassian to the hilt, Elias shattered, his climax spurting hot between their pressed stomachs as his walls convulsed violently around his mate. The intense, milking grip pushed Cassian over the edge; the king roared into the night, slamming deep inside Elias one last time as hot, thick waves of his seed flooded Elias’s depths.

They clung to each other in the dark, heavy breath mingling with the rising mist, completely bound by blood, lust, and an ancient destiny that had only just begun to unspool.

  • The Alpha King Rejected Me, Then Begged For my Love    Chapter 11: THE POWER BENEATH MY BLOOD

The audience chamber doors burst open, revealing a line of royal guards led by Lord Varrick, the oldest member of the Royal Council. His silver hair was neatly combed, and his black uniform carried the insignia of the seven kingdoms. Unlike the guards behind him, he looked completely unafraid as he entered the room, his eyes moving from Cassian's drawn sword to the shattered crown on the table. “By the authority of the Royal Council, Elias Vale and Kael Vale are hereby charged with treason, conspiracy against the throne, and the destruction of a sacred royal artifact,” Varrick announced. “They are to be detained immediately and held until the council determines their punishment.” Cassian stepped in front of the twins. “You have no authority to issue that order without my approval.” “Your Majesty, the ancient emergency law grants the council authority when the royal line is threatened.” “The royal line is not threatened,” Cassian replied coldly. “It is being investigated, and I wil

  • The Alpha King Rejected Me, Then Begged For my Love    Chapter 10: THE CROWN THAT CHOOSES ITS KING

Elias stared at the ancient crown inside the wooden case, struggling to understand how a single object could threaten the lives of seven kingdoms. Its blackened silver surface looked older than anything he had ever seen, yet the pale stone at its center pulsed like a living heart. Every time the light brightened, the pendant around his neck responded, sending warmth through his chest. “If the crown can choose a king, why has it remained hidden beneath the palace for so long?” Elias asked. Master Alaric closed the case. “Because the last time it was worn, the First Bloodline was betrayed. The crown's power became unstable, and the kingdoms nearly destroyed one another. Your ancestors hid it until the rightful heirs could return.” “And you decided who would survive until then?” Kael demanded. The silver mark beneath his skin had returned to its usual brightness, but the anger in his eyes remained. “You took me from my family, bound my power, and made me believe everyone I loved was d

Kael's dagger pointed directly at Cassian's heart, its silver blade catching the pale light filtering through the shattered floor. No one in the audience chamber dared move. The royal guards had drawn their weapons, but none approached the First Bloodline heir, whose awakened power still pressed against the room like an invisible weight. Even the strongest Alphas struggled to remain standing, and Elias could feel the ancient magic stirring beneath his skin as if it were waiting for him to give a single command. “Put the dagger down, Kael,” Cassian ordered, refusing to step away from Elias. “Whatever you think the prophecy demands, killing me will not give you the crown.” “You have no idea what the prophecy demands.” Kael's grip tightened around the weapon. “You have spent your entire life sitting on a throne built from my family's graves. You were given a kingdom, a name, and a mother who protected you, while I was raised by strangers who taught me to fight before I learned to read.

  • The Alpha King Rejected Me, Then Begged For my Love    Chapter 8: THE SON THE QUEEN TRIED TO KILL

For several seconds, Elias could not understand what Queen Mother Isolde had said. The words seemed to hang above the throne like a death sentence, impossible to ignore and too terrible to accept. He stared at the woman who had ruled the palace beside her son, searching her face for some sign that she had misspoken, but the trembling in her hands and the fear in her eyes told him otherwise. “You ordered them to kill me?” Elias asked. His voice sounded strangely calm, and that frightened him more than if he had screamed. All his life, he had believed his troubles came from being ordinary, from having little money, and from falling in love with a man who could never accept him. Now he was learning that someone had wanted him dead before he had even taken his first breath. Isolde pressed her fingers against the arms of her chair. “You do not understand what was happening twenty-three years ago. The kingdom was on the verge of civil war, and the prophecy warned that the return of the F

Elias had barely finished speaking when the royal guard reached for the sword at his waist. The movement was quick, almost instinctive, but Cassian noticed it immediately. The king stepped between Elias and the guard, his expression turning so cold that the soldier froze with his fingers wrapped around the hilt. “Drop that weapon, and you will lose the hand holding it,” Cassian warned. The guard released his sword and dropped to one knee. “Your Majesty, I meant no disrespect. I was only surprised by the accusation.” “What accusation?” Adrian asked, moving toward the door. “Elias has not accused anyone. He said he saw something through his connection to the ancient bloodline. If you have nothing to hide, you should have no reason to fear what he saw.” “I have nothing to hide, Prince Adrian.” “Then you will not mind telling us who admitted the messenger into the palace.” The guard hesitated for just long enough to make Elias suspicious. His eyes shifted toward the corridor, and al

  • The Alpha King Rejected Me, Then Begged For my Love    Chapter 6: THE BROTHER WHO WANTED ME IN CHAINS

The message lay on the table between Elias and Cassian, its black seal broken and its final sentence echoing through the silent room. Elias had read it three times, hoping the words would change, but they remained the same. Somewhere beyond the northern border, a young Alpha carrying the Vale name had declared himself the rightful heir of the First Bloodline, and he wanted Elias delivered to him in chains. For twenty-three years, Elias had believed he was an only child. He had grown up with the quiet grief of parents who refused to speak about the baby they had lost, never imagining that the missing child might still be alive. Now that his brother had finally appeared, Elias should have felt relieved, but the demand for his imprisonment turned that relief into something darker. “Perhaps the man who sent this message is lying,” Cassian said, watching Elias carefully. “He could be an impostor using your family name to gain access to the palace or challenge my throne. We cannot assum
