Chapter Fifty Three: Shot

"Nothing, just some little pains in my stomach but you can go" Elena replied, wincing in pain and the maid nodded before rushing out.

Seeing as the maid rushed out, Elena immediately took her hand from her stomach before rushing to the bathroom, going to the sink, she poured out all the juice and rinsed her mouth before looking up at her face in the mirror, she sighed remembering what happened earlier on.

FLASHBACK

Elena collected the juice from the maid, she was about taking it to her mouth when she saw that it was not settled which made her crease her brows slightly. Her eyes went to the maid and she saw a smirk at the edge of her lips which made her come to the conclusion that it was spiked.

She still drank the juice to convince the maid and told her to go.
