Chapter 20 - Mental breakdown

Lilith couldn’t hold her tears anymore. Now that a few of them managed to escape, she couldn’t hold anything back anymore. They have been waiting to break free.

Tears that reminded her of the dramatic turn her life took when she turned eighteen, her new rank within the pack, her banishment and above everything else, the respect that the pack members had for her drastically changing into nothing but disgust and scorn. 

She really tried to pull through everything thrown her way but she wasn’t strong enough to keep up the façade and the walls which she had built around herself. They were slowly cracking open.

She covered the sob that slipped passed her lips. Her fingertips dug into the skin of her cheeks. She never wanted to cry in front of Blaze.

She thought about asking him to get out but that would only enrage him more. It also didn’t look like her words would make any difference on him. Blaze wasn’t in the right condition to think straight with
