The sound of metal clashing echoed through the air as we approached the training grounds. It was bigger than any field I’d ever seen — warriors, witches, and even hybrids moving in perfect coordination. Some trained hand-to-hand, while others practiced channeling magic into their strikes. The ground pulsed faintly beneath my feet, carrying the rhythm of their power.

“Whoa,” I breathed, my eyes wide. “This is… incredible.”

Adeline smiled proudly. “Told you. This is Crescent Veil. Everyone here works together, no matter what blood runs through them.”

My gaze was drawn to a particular sparring circle in the middle of the field. The crowd had formed a wide ring around two fighters, and even from a distance, I could feel the intensity. One of them, a tall, broad-shouldered man , moved with lethal grace, his punches fast, controlled, powerful.

The other warrior barely managed to block before being thrown flat onto the dirt.
