“Out of line?” Lia laughed bitterly. “I’m your Luna, Liam. You promised”

“That was before I knew she existed!” he shouted, his voice breaking slightly.

Gasps echoed across the room.

My heart thudded painfully as everyone turned toward me. I wanted to vanish, but it was too late the truth was out.

Lia stood there trembling, disbelief painted all over her face. “You… you can’t be serious,” she whispered. “She’s your mate?”

Liam took a step forward, his voice softer but full of conviction. “Yes… she is.”

The silence that followed was heavy, almost suffocating. Lia’s mother’s eyes darkened, her expression unreadable.

“Be careful,” Nyx warned again, her tone sharp. “That woman is not just angry,she’s planning something.”

And deep down, I knew Nyx was right.
