The Alpha's Obsession

"Are you okay," He asked before bursting out in a wicked laughter. 

Ooh, let me introduce myself. My name is Erica Michaels I’m 22 years old but in a span of a few days seems that I’ve aged a lot of reasons why let me preserve it for the best.

"What do you think?" I replied arrogantly. Despite being in pain I still couldn't help being a little arrogant am helpless but I still have my mouth. That's him Alec Horton, the one person I considered to be my friend but all that was pure pretense.

"Oooh, I see you still have the energy," he said stepping on my wounded leg before yelling," Whip her."

I let out a bitter laugh this has been my life these few days. I stared at him with a mocking smile, I rather die here than let him control me. Yes, control me. Alec Horton, no a monster seems more suitable for him has always been so obsessed with me reasons why I don't know yet.

My thoughts are suddenly disrupted by a loud noise, I look around wondering where the noise is coming from but soon the pain left on me makes me realize it’s my body. I've been whipped so much that it seems am kind of immune to it.  

I won't waste my tears on someone like him I won't give him the satisfaction of being happy.

"Again," I hear him command one of the guards. Am the only person left in my pack this is the least thing I could do for them. After twenty whole minutes of being whipped, I writhed around in pain but since being stubborn is what I know best I lie down not letting a sound escape. After a few seconds, I stare at him with a bitter smile with an expression written all over my smile, "Are you done?" He seemed to have guessed my thoughts so he yelled angrily, "Cold water, let's see how long you will last."

One of the guards walked in with a bucket full of cold water and then handed it to Alec who in turn poured the whole water on me. I shivered terribly by it but that is not enough for me to bow down to him.

I lifted my eyes and then stared at one of the guards who used to be in my pack. Seeing my gaze, he lowered his eyes feeling a bit guilty after a few seconds I turned my gaze away from him and focused on Alec.

Seeing that I still didn't budge, he walked away angrily. I push myself towards the corner and then coil myself my clothes dripping wet. This was my life every day. It's enough that he killed my pack but I wouldn't let him kill my dignity that's all that I have for now. 

Thoughts ran through my mind as I thought of what to do next If this continued, I wouldn't be able to last long. Dying was not an option I had to take back what Alec took from me I want to give him a taste of his own medicine and torture him to death. Thinking of that I let out a laugh not too loud as I had no energy left in me, I had not eaten or drunk anything for more than 36 hours.

"You have to do something Erica get yourself together," I heard voices in my head which gave me the courage but suddenly I thought of something. How will I do that? I had nothing not even a tiny bit of energy left to drag my feet to the door let alone run for my life. I had to escape I don't care how, I rather die anywhere else but here.

What had I done to deserve this? I let out a long sigh before I shut my eyes which was the only thing that would keep me going.

After napping for hours and hours, I woke up feeling a bit energetic despite feeling a bit tired after napping in one position that was nothing compared to what I had gone through so I tried to stand up. I had wounds all over my body. Yes, I mean all over both fresh and old wounds piled up. I move my two feet as I supported myself on the wall like a one-year-old child or even worse considering my current condition. Step by step, I moved after a whole thirty minutes or more probably I finally managed to move halfway through the room I had to do it before Alec comes back.

Suddenly, a loud noise disrupts me which made me a bit scared before I heard," This is the only thing I can do to help you," I stare at the door it was one of the guards from yesterday. Wait the one from my park he seems trustworthy I thought this was my chance.

"Get me out of here," I said almost in a whisper which he heard probably as my energy was quite used up from the walk.

He stares at me for a while before walking away which I assume might be a yes. Finally hope. I crawl toward the tray that he had sneaked in. I quickly munched on it stuffing everything in my tiny mouth I didn't care about anything else it felt quite nice. After being starved for days, I finally regained a bit of energy so I resumed walking around. 

For the rest of the day, Alec didn't show up I felt quite relieved by it.

That night, I had one of the most peaceful nights ever since I arrived in this hell hole. Who knew the cause of it all would be the one person I considered a friend and even willingly welcomed him into our pack? Thinking of how well I treated him made me want to puke.

Thinking of how he killed my parents right in front of my eyes made me want to strangle him to death No torture him to death. This was why I had to live to avenge my parent's death and the entire pack.

The next morning, I woke feeling better than the previous day, as usual, I trained myself, and the guard sneaked me food ooh wait he told me his name at least he gave me a little bit of hope. After eating, I stared into the dark room my thoughts running wild. What if I hadn't brought him to our pack would the outcome be different? Would I still be my parent's pride? I asked myself thinking of those tears rolled down my eyes uncontrollably as reality hit me. I was all alone now I had no one all of them were gone.

That day, Alec was nowhere to be seen I felt kind of relieved but still worried and afraid that he might be planning something big. I was partly healed and had a little bit of energy in me so it wouldn't be a problem for me if I were to escape. I had placed all my hope on the guard I hoped that he would still keep his promise and let me escape I don't know why it took him so long but I never gave up waiting.

Being in darkness for so long I yearned for some light I finally knew its importance.

After hours and hours of staring at nothing in particular I finally drifted to sleep.
