"What do you want and how'd you even get my number?" She was the last person I ever wanted to speak to and having her voice next to my ears was pricking my skin.

"No, let's talk about you instead," she snapped. "What do you want?"

"You called," I reminded her. "Plus, I wouldn't want to talk to you after you kidnapped my kids."

"Ha! I was only doing them a favour. I figured they could know the pack they truly came from. How does it feel running away with the Alpha's pups?"

My nose flared in anger, "You had no right-- and I'm not about to go back and forth with you. Goodbye--"

"The pack hates you!"

I was going to hang up but now she had my attention. "Yes, after you spread rumours, I'm sure-"

"Oh please! I just did everyone a favour. I reminded them that a Luna who ran away can never return and play ruler. You were a coward who couldn't handle the pack or her man and so you left. Don't bother coming back-"

"Do you hear yourself? If you did, you'd know how ridiculous you sound. Thi
