Chapter5 - Secrets and Aliens

He told us that it’ll take a minimum of three weeks to fix the car and it was not helping the fact that my new university is about to open in two weeks.

“Catherine can you wait by the car, I need to discuss something with bob, something personal.” He told me and nodded to the exit door. I hummed in response and made my way to his black Lamborghini.

While I was waiting outside the shop, I felt like someone was stalking me. I turned around to spot a buff man with strong muscles, glaring at me with a sinister smile.

“Finally, caught you, sweet cheeks,” He growled at me with a sadistic smile, which gives me creepy vibes. I took a step back and look behind me to see nothing but the forest. The shop was located behind the creep’s back.

Suddenly the man in front of me gave me an animalistic growl. I shuddered with fear, was it even possible to make such an inhumane sound.

To confirm my doubt, brown fur started to sprout out of his skin, his eyes turned yellow, his canine grew out of his mouth. At this moment I was scared would be an understatement because I was beyond scared.

What is everything holy was he?

Was he even a human?

I was going to have heart failure at this rate.

Like every normal person in my situation, I sprinted into the forest to save my life.

I could feel my adrenaline rushing through my veins. I ran as fast as I could. I could feel the tiny branches scratching my exposed skin in my arms and neck while I was running through them. I could hear that human-like, wolf alien trailing behind me. I screamed bloody murder while running.

Suddenly I stepped on a little rock and twisted my ankle in a not so comfortable way. I screamed in agony, the pain was excruciating. I could feel my eyes prick with tears and it ran down my cheeks. I was crying like a baby, clutching my ankle.

The alien wolf took slow steps towards me like a predator hunting for its prey. This was it, my last moments of life. I closed my eyes and waited for the wolf to finish my life.

I waited for the wolf to kill me but instead, I heard a loud growl from my right side. I opened my eyes and turned my head towards the growl to spot the same black wolf I met a few nights ago.

It looked a little bigger than the brown wolf which was standing in front of me and the black wolf was holding the same cloth that Alexander wore today with its teeth.

Then that means, oh my god! I gasped aloud, which made both the wolves snap their head towards the sweet little me.

Suddenly the black wolf dropped the clothes on the ground and lunge at the brown one. I used this chance to limp towards Alexander’s cloth and hugged it to my chest.

I could smell his minty smell mixed with his masculine scent in his clothes. He was not my friend but because of me, he was eaten by a wolf.

My lips trembled and I left an ugly sob and started to cry like a toddler.

I lifted my teary eyes and saw the two wolves rolling on the dirty ground but neither of the wolves was hurting each other.

The black wolf left a bone-chilling growl, which made the brown one bow its head in submission or maybe defeat. I don’t know exactly what it was.

“I’m s…so…. sorry, Alex…Alexander, it’s my fault. What am I supposed to tell my granny … When she asked me about you,” I whimpered and hugged his clothes close to me.

My nose was running and there was a little tear on my shirt. I was dirty and hurt. In another word, I was a mess.

I could say that both the wolves stopped fighting due to the eerie calmness. When I lifted my gaze to the brown one, it was no longer there. It might have run off due to the black wolf.

The rustling and crunching of leaves made me snap my head towards my left to spot the black wolf. It looked so mighty and mystical, I started to panic when it made its way towards me with slow steps.

It was now standing so close to me, I let out a whimper and started to cry so loud.

“Pl…please do… don’t eat me” I hiccupped. It looked at me with amusement and fury clear in its golden orbs, Which was surrounded by a blue ring.

“Why…? Why did you eat him?” I asked Mr. Wolf with a hoarse voice, due to crying.

It tilted its head to the side and made some strange noise. Its fur started to vanish and was replaced by tan skin. The wolf started to shift into a human, more like Alexander. I was speechless and he was...

Whoa!

Naked, like butt naked. He had well-defined abs, muscular chest, he was slender but looks stronger. I could see his V line which leads to his…

I diverted my eyes to his face. I tried not to focus on his junk. So I looked into his blue eyes, which hold the entire ocean, captive. I gaped at him like a fish, unable to form a sentence.

Was he even real?

“Missed me so much?” he asked me with a teasing smile.

I threw my arms around his neck and hugged him so tight. He stiffened under my arms, not expecting my little outburst. He started to relax under my arms and heaved a sigh of relief. I could feel every ridge, pecks, and hard muscle of his body press into my soft one. I didn’t care about his nakedness because

I thought he was eaten by a wolf. I started to cry once again. He held me close to his chest and rocked me back and forth to calm me.

“I… I thought you were e… eaten by that w… wolf” I sobbed into his chest. He just rubbed my back in soothing circles.

“Catherine how can I eat myself?” he asked me and it made me stiffen with realization. I pulled out from him, and look at him with wide eyes.

Oh my god!

“You are a wolf alien.” I accused him and took some steps back. Suddenly I was not concerned about him, I was rather scared.

I tried to run away from him but it ended in vain. I forgot about my ankle and ended up falling on my palm. My palm burned from contact with the ground, making my eyes sting.

“Shit! Are you alright?” he hastened his steps towards me. He looked concerned but his eyes held malice as if, he was enjoying my pain.

“Don’t come any closer,” I warned him and crawled backward, away from him. He raised his hands and slowly crouched down to my height.

My hands wandered the ground in search of something. It landed on a stick, I was miserable but it’ll do.

“Calm down.” He tried to calm me but I know better to not put my guard down.

I raised the stick in front of me as if it would protect me from this alien.

“Catherine, if you think this twig will protect you. You should think better.” He informed with slight mockery at his tone.

He took a step closer to me. I closed my eyes and raised the stick against him. The stick broke and fell off my hand. My eyes widened and my hands began to tremble. The entire situation was deteriorating.

He had this ‘I told you so’ expression on his face. He gave me a lopsided grin and ran his hand through his silky brown hair.

“I’ll explain everything.” He promised. I gulped and nodded my head.

I didn’t have a choice in this matter, did I?

“But can you… Ah… give me my clothes, unless you want me to be naked.” He asked me with a little tease.

My face bloomed with color. I threw his clothes at him and turned my back to him for his privacy. I heard him chuckle at my reaction.

“Ahem! You can turn around, I changed to my clothes,” he told me by clearing his throat. I turned around to see him shifting from one leg to another.

“So you are a wolf” I whispered weakly, he stared at me and chuckled softly. I narrowed my eyes and muttered some incoherent words under my breath.

“Actually I’m half human and the half-wolf that makes me a werewolf. I’m not an alien, okay. So relax, my kind is considered as a myth that’s why no one knows about my kind,” he explained.

“But if you are living on this earth for so long how come no one knew about you?” I asked him with confusion.
