Chapter 22 – Friendly dinner
It was our friends. They hadn't left the place, they were eavesdropping on us. They were all grinning at us, like lunatics.
"Hey, it is just a friendly dinner," Jake defended us.
"Yeah sure," Dalton rolled his eyes. Paul scrutinized his gaze upon Jake.
"If you hurt her, I'll chop your balls off and shove it down your throat." Paul threatened Jake like an overprotective mother hen.
"Jeez, Paul, calm down, it was just a friendly date." Chloe wrapped her arms around her boyfriend and kissed his jaw to calm him. Paul sighed and hugged her back.
"Point taken," Jake raised his hands in surrender.
After our little chit-chat, we all scurried away and went along with our schedule. Rachel pulled me alone with her. We both have the same class which was business English, and there was still time for that to begin.
