Chapter 7- Packhouse

As soon as she left, I turned my attention to him.

"Alpha?" I asked him with my raised eyebrows to confirm my thoughts. Xander gave me a sigh before replying to me.

"Yes Catherine, I'm their Alpha, the leader of Blood moon pack." He told me casually. I could feel his irritation through his voice, but he tried to conceal it as if, he was tired.

"Oh…hm…uh…okay," I stuttered, suddenly feeling embarrassed about our previous encounters.

We both entered into a medium-sized wooden cabin located near that large packhouse. Xander gently laid me on the bed. The room was white and large with several beds neatly aligned in order. There was a huge portrait of a black wolf with some white fur covering its paw and belly, which was hung on the wall, I could smell medicine and disinfectant here.

God, I hate hospitals.

I already spent more than enough of my life in hospital.
