"Finally my granddaughter is getting a boyfriend, I am so proud of you, sweetie." She patted my head like I achieved a Nobel Prize. I pouted at her and swatted her hand playfully which made her gurgle at me. Her eyes crinkled at the corner and she looked happy. I was not even sure what was going in that head of his.
"I'm going to check on Eric," I pointed my thump upstairs and awkwardly walked away from her, she chortled at me softly.
"Cathie, Just don't rush things with Alex, I heard that he lost his Girlfriend and still grieving her death." She advised me. I stopped at the first step and gave her my full attention.
