Chapter 12

I woke up feeling better, my body no longer feeling like it was being slow roasted. I looked around the room in the heat house and groaned. I began to run the events of the last day and a half in total embarrassment.

Now that I had moved out of stage one of heat, I could finally order my thoughts without my hormones getting in the way. When I thought about what Charlie and Lennon had walked in on between Brody and I, I blushed the deepest shade of scarlet.

I also cringed as I thought about the amount of wolves that had seen me naked in the past thirty hours. I groaned as I buried my face in my hands. Someone cleared their throat and I looked up to see Lennon standing in the doorway with a smirk on his face.

I flushed in embarrassment as I remembered what he had done for me in my heat. I then realised I was still naked. I gasped as I grabbed the bed covers off the floor and covered myself, trying to save at least a shred of my dignity.
