I am so excited for today but I try not to get my hopes up too much. I want my mate, but I am apprehensive at having a human for a mate. Plus she could also decide to reject me and want nothing to do with the shadow world. That would feel even worse than searching for my mate. There is no such thing as second chances. The goddess must have a sick sense of humor.

My first two classes are agonizingly slow. Ace won’t stop whining in my head which makes me agitated making the wolves around me run for the hills.

“Dude you got to relax. Maybe we can try and find her at lunch, everyone either hangs out in the quad or in the cafeteria. This is not an open campus so she can’t leave,” says Jackson.

“It has got to be weird to have a human as a mate,” says Jayden, Jackson’s twin.

I hear Jackson give his brother a growl and smack him upside the head. They may be twins but Jackson is stronger, and smarter apparently, so I made him my beta and Jayden is my gamma.
