The Fake School Trip Letter

Mrs Smith exhaled first, "Those are great options my baby, very wise, I'm glad. Just make sure you study what you love. It's great doing a job that you love. I promise you, you wont even feel like you're going to work, especially if it's passion!  Oh it's 19:28, let's pray guys and thank God for the day".

They did, they praised God, read the Bible and prayed. 

Teddy had to go wash and wash the dishes, one of her roles was to wash dishes every evening, Susan would just rest till the next morning. As soon as she finished, she went to her bedroom because everyone had gone to sleep.

She locked it as always, she quickly jumped high and threw herself in bed in preparation for an i***a video call with Isha and Nicole.

They couldn't stop laughing, she wanted to tell them about the plan but she was afraid that 'walls have ears' so she preferred doing it live.

As for Anaisha's family, her parents were strict, she was a Muslim so her culture was strict, there are a lot of things she wasn't permitted to do, like going out, drinking, parting, etc.

Her family was very modern, but abided by culture and tradition, everything naughty she went up to, she had to be very careful, extra careful. 

She was very spoiled too, she was using the Huawei P40, the latest model, everyone in her family had a great phone.

His dad had businesses there and there, car dealerships, wholesale shops, salons, and boutiques. She and her 2 year older brother had everything they ever needed. 

As for Anaisha's family, her parents were strict.

The 'Hussain' family was great, they were the kindest people ever, took care of the poor, offered a lot of things to people, not just in the name of abiding by their religious rules, no!  They all loved giving, it ran in the family's bloodline. 

Her brother Yazan was brilliant too, they always quarreled on who was smarter between them, but no one had the courage In the family to tell them that they had 0.5 mental capability difference 😂they were just equal.

These two were very close, they had each other's backs always, although Yazan was schooling at the Waterford Kamhlaba, which was usually known as the UWC.

It was the most expensive school In the country, his parents afforded him, both because Isha's school was the second best.

Well... As for Nicole's family, she had 2 siblings, one girl and one boy, they were three, they all had their own rooms, they were Always on their phones. Her family wasn't that strict compared to her friend's.

They were Robert's,a rich and well known family in the country, his dad, Mr Paul Robert owned a huge share in one of the malls in town, he had resorts and guest houses, so you can imagine! 

So yeah! It's hard to say whose family was more wealthy than the other between the crew.

It was a Friday, a bright sunny Friday, it was a beautiful day indeed! They always met at their official boardroom which everyone knew of, nobody chilled there except for them of course!

Teddy put her back back down, took a deep breath as a way of preparing to break the news of what she had planned. 

"Uhhh!  Okay okay!  Listen!  This is it guys... We type a letter addressed to our parents right?  Then we print it out of course, we  steal the school stamp to make it real, that's it! We have a party!  You got me"? 🤔she asked.

Nicole frowned...

"Teddy, you are not clarifying... What letter exactly and how do we do that"? 

Anaisha got it faster than Nic...

"Ohhh ohhh!!!  Yes I get it... This is what you mean...  Ummm we type an artificial  getaway/ trip letter, addressed to our parents, we name the price and somebody's gotta interrupt the secretary so we could stamp the letter, then we could make photocopies right"? 😀

Teddy screamed..

"Yes!  Yes!  Oh my goodness, you read my mind.. Question now is the venue, date and costs. 

"Well... Let's make it an L. O trip, like we are going to  Mountain Inn hotel, or The George Hotel, and by the way who cares what our parents will think about the place, because this trip is real and we don't have a say.. I mean like seriously "? 😂😂😂

They all laughed at Nicole's statement. 

They planned that Nic was going to type it in their I. T lab during their lunch time and print it out there as if they will be printing out an assignment.

The only dilemma now was how to interrupt the secretary to get the stamp and without anyone observing. 

"Teddy you do it"! 

"What!?  Are you mad"?  

"Yes you have to do it"! 

"What?  Why me?  You know what?  Do it"! 

"You are more brave and you came up with all this! 

"Ohh!  So I'll be partying alone because I came up with this? I already have a warning, why not you"? 

Isha pushed her inside the administration office, Teddy went back by force. 

"Damn!  What the hell did you just do?  What the fuck was that!?  🤒

"Teddy!  It's either a do or a don't, either we do it now or we never are okay!!! Get it through your thick skull! Nicole said.

"Okay okay!  I get inside, and ask for a new college book okay!  In the meantime you stamp the letter okay?  You hear me?  So we are doing this now! She marched in the office. 

"Good afternoon mam!  I'm so sorry to interrupt you, I was actually finishing off my assignment which is due in 10 minutes and I just ran out of pages, may you please give me a new one". 

The secretary pulled down her glasses close to her nostrils, and Teddy turned and looked at her friends and they  almost laughed because of the way she would look right in there, she looked more funnier when she did that. 

She stood up with keys to open where she had to get the book. "Guys... Please wait for me, I'll be back just now".

 She winked at them. Nicole did it! She just went brave and did it, presses it down 3 times even, imagine!  They were back in 3 minutes. She said her goodbyes and they left! 

They couldn't wait to reach a comfortable space and just shout, yell it all out and say...

"YES! WE DID IT! YES! 😂😂

Teddy breathed heavily...

"Guys!  One more thing... Wait! How much did we say it costs again?  She checked!  What the? 😲dude! We said the trip is E2000.00? Just to go to Mountain inn?  🙄should we change and go smaller? 

"What!!!? After all the trouble we went through now?  No! Never!  We will cross the bridge once we get there, don't you think"?  Isha asked. 

They all agreed to it.. The party was in a week... All they had to do was to get a house to host it there. They tried but no one's house was going to be free except for one's who were in grade 8. Damn! Teddy didn't want amateurs there. 

"You either take it or leave it... The kid was folding her hands, rolling her eyes to them. She was going to have their house all to herself, her parents were going to be away on that very weekend... Invite me and you won't be renting my house, sleep on it! She left! 

They were all left puzzled, their eyes met and it was that kind of a "Wow!  Moment. They felt like they were trapped, you know. 

"Teddy!  We have no choice, she gotta be there", Isha said. 

"I know Isha I know, I know but I don't want kids, I don't want kids!!!  It's only grade 11's and 12's!  Oh my goodness!  Can she even hold a glass of wine? 🙄tell me!  This is fucked up! 😏. 

"It's not friend, it's just a compromise, look!  At least she isn't charging us anything, at least! That was Nic...
