WASHINGTON

SAINT CARTER MEMORIAL HOSPITAL HEALTH CENTER.

Mason Carter was standing with coffee in his hand at the reception when he heard noises outside and quickly turned to look at the door.

"He had been hurt by a knife!" While pushing the stretcher into the hospital with the injured patient lying on it and screaming in pain, a doctor in her scrubs shouted as two additional doctors joined her.

"Get him to the ER. I'll be there right away." She spoke as she stepped away from the stretcher's handle. The two doctors pushed the patient into the emergency room to examine his wound. Mason looked her in the eyes and then turned back to the front desk, flirting with the nurses.

The doctor called while placing both of her hands on her waist. "Rookie." Mason didn't turn until she walked up behind him and gave Mason a tap on the back.
