“I don’t know. I’m planning to let this guy eat the leftovers, but he said he’ll just give it to the staff at home.”
Priscilla chuckled, “Well, you can’t let him eat all of it. That’s a lot of sugar. It’s great that you have a supportive husband. You’re very fortunate.”
Mel smiled. Is she? She eyed said husband. Well, this trip and chat with someone as nice as her was arranged by him. Yeah, she’s lucky. He was so thoughtful of her needs.
But then, it occurred to her. Was this necessary? He’s definitely going beyond what’s required of him.
As they left the café and heading to a restaurant for a meal, Mel could swear she could fool herself to believe he truly cares about her. He looked a little uncomfortable with the way she stared at him.
