"You need to drink this, Ash," Jason says as he holds a spoonful of soup near my mouth. I shake my head. I don't want to have anything. I feel nauseous. "Ash, please," he sighs. "I know this is tough for you, Ash. But you need to be strong. I know you are strong; you are my best friend," he says. "This is just another phase of sadness in your life. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy the time you have left with us. You have Adrian, the kids, me, and your family. We are all here for you. But you have to be mentally strong to come out of this situation and try to move on from it, okay?" He cups my cheeks and I look at him before nodding slightly. He smiles widely at me and kisses my head before bringing the soup back and starting to feed me slowly. Once done, one by one, my friends, Dad, Mum, Domenic, Micael, and Freddie walk in. But Adrian is not here. I want Adrian right now. As if he heard my words, he entered the room with a bouquet of red roses in his ha
