Chapter 38

Walking along the hallway Iris is back here again in the pack house. She decided to stay here and face Eris everyday. Lauriel still believes he needs longer time of punishment but Iris believed that this is not the time for such things. The enemy is still hiding it's better to work together than continue this punishment. As long as she's near Eris he'll be able to work better. The wolf in him  is still battling inside because it craved for her. She slowed down when she meets Eris in the hallway.

He looks so much different from the last time she's seen him. She preferred the five o'clock shadow around his jaw and mouth. But the stubble grew out making him look much older, his hair was also longer almost touching the jawline. 

"Why are you still up?" He asked. 

"I couldn't sleep, how about you?" 

"Can't sleep too. I guess we're going to be up all night."
