Iris tied up the strings of her black combat boots. She hid a knife within the boots and few melee weapons. An old Leonine woman approached her, giving out food rations. There was a hidden smile in her eyes and Iris raised an eyebrow to question the old woman. 

"You seem to be glowing today, Madam. Are you sure that you're joining us to this war?" the woman asked. 

"I already made my decision and there is no turning back. Fate called me to be here, to fulfill my duty to the Blood Wolf people. Even if they're no longer here." she whispered the last part. The woman patted her arm to offer sincerity.
