"What happened?"

Minerva tried to restrain her cry when she heard her father's voice. She clutched her stomached and bit her lips but the pain was too severe.

"Your Grace, the Little Miss just ate leisurely a while ago. However, she suddenly groaned loudly and clutched her stomach as she cried hard. This servant already called for a physician but the Little Miss would not listen to the physician's instruction. She would do nothing but continue to cry." She heard Julia explained. Nevertheless, Minerva did not pay her any heed.

Just as she focused to forcefully restrain her sobs despite the pain, she felt that she had been carried. When she glanced at who was the one who carried her, she saw her father who was now frowning.

She tightly clutched herself and wanted to say something but only a sob came out. Her father pursed his lips and hugged her as he caressed her back as if to comfort her.
