After Atlas and I got done eating, we left the cafe and got back into the Jeep.

Then I turned to him and asked, “Where to next?”

“Home. It's already four-fifteen o'clock “ Atlas said.

Time was running out on me, and right now, I had only an hour and some minutes left. So wasting no time, I stepped on the accelerator and drove off.

When we arrived at the mansion, Atlas unbuckled his seat belt and was about to get down from the car when I got a call.

It was a spam call, but it came at the perfect time, and without any hesitation, I answered and said, “Hello, Susan.”

For a second, I eyed Atlas before saying, “Calm down. What do you mean by, ‘Rob broke up with you!” 

The person on the other end of the line said, “What are you talking about?”

But those words didn't make me break character. Instead, I got pretty emotional, forced myself to share a tear, and said, “I'm on my way, Sus! Don't try to do anything stupid!”
