Brielle’s POV
My fingers were going numb. I wondered if it was because of the tight chains or because they had been suspended in the air for quite some time. I tried holding on to my sanity as I watched my husband ram his dick into his slut’s mouth. Her mouth was filled up with his genitalia. I could see the tears dropping down her eyes, as she was being choked by it. “Suck on it, you maniac!” Alpha Chase commanded as he kept thrusting into her throat. The other sluts giggled as they watched the scene. “You see, Brielle! That is how you pleasure an alpha!” He said to me, as he groaned with pleasure. I couldn't help but let the tears that had welled up in my eyes stream out. I watched a man that I had abandoned everything for, make a mess with my best friend. I closed my eyes to reduce the pain, but the moans made it far much worse. “Open those eyes!”He commanded, holding back my chin. I instantly regretted opening them, as the image I saw made my heart shatter into a million pieces. He had all three of them on our matrimonial bed. “Why are… you… doing this?” I stuttered as I soaked myself with tears. “Why, you ask?” He responded with a chuckle, still slamming into Mabel, one of my best friends. She made a slutty face, as he drove into her from behind. “You don't deserve a werewolf like me. You wretched excuse for a wife .” He snarled. Well I couldn't blame him, it was my father who brought this mayhem upon me. Flashback I had just returned from another pack land where I studied Econs. I just had my degree and was determined to show my people what an evolved werewolf I had become. “Dad!” I yelled as soon as I opened the door. I noticed the sad expression on his face when I walked in but I was so excited that I had to hug him first. “Welcome sunflower, ” He muttered, chuckling loudly with his hands wrapped around me. “Dad, you won't believe what happened!” I exclaimed and was about to show him the piece of paper I held in my hands. I didn't perceive Ken as my mate but we were in love. So, we both agreed to take a step further and not let our idealogy stop us from having the life we wanted. “Hello,” Alpha Chase emerged from our living room. “Alpha Chase!”I exclaimed with a bow. I was a bit shocked because I wasn't aware that the Alpha knew us, talking more about visiting us. “Brielle, you are as beautiful as they say.”Alpha Chase complimented with a smile. My head melted with joy as I felt an urge of satisfaction. “Brielle, my love,” My father started with a sad countenance. “Alpha Chase is here to retrieve his claim.” He stated, looking away from me. “Dad? What do you mean claim?”I asked with a breaking voice. I have heard stories of girls arranging for their alpha as a way to bring honor to their families, but I never thought I would be one of those. “We are in a lot of debt sweetheart. Your college tuition, your mother's funeral,” He explained, still too ashamed to look me in the eyes. Alpha Chase stood with a blank expression by the side of the room. “Dad! How could you do this without my consent !” I exclaimed, falling in tears. “Mum won't have done this!” I yelled at him but he kept looking away from me. “You sold me out?” I muttered as it all felt like a big dream for me. I didn't know what to tell to Ken, or what path my life was going to take but I knew I had no control over it anymore. “Shall we go?” Alpha Chase asked as he walked out of our house. “Just one minute with her please.” My father pleaded in tears. “You are going to be a Luna, Brielle. Be strong, your mother would be very much proud of you.” My father muttered. I hugged him tight and whispered, “Dad, please don't let him take me away.”. I cried, still holding on to my father. “I don't have all day!” Alpha Chase yelled as he stepped into his car. My heart broke into a billion pieces as I let go of my father and followed a man I barely knew. “Where to, Alpha Chase?” The driver asked as he took glances at me from the rearview mirror. “To the Packhouse, I need to tell the Council of my new Luna. And she needs to get acquainted with her new home.” He responded, smiling widely at me. I texted Ken immediately and told him about everything that was going on . We dropped at the pack house and Alpha Chase instructed a lady to show me around the mansion and to his quarters. “Am I going by myself?”I asked him as he was about to walk away. “I have a meeting that I can't miss sweetheart. Don't worry, you would get enough of me.” He smirked as he walked away. “This way ma'am,” The lady voiced as she took me by my hand upstairs to Alpha Chase’s quarters. “So this is the Alpha’s bedroom. I would show you around by evening,” She voiced. I held on to my phone waiting desperately for Ken’s response. But, instead, I got a call. “Hey, baby!” I exclaimed, as soon as I picked up. “What’s going on Brielle? What happened?” Ken asked in a shaky tone. He sounded like he was having a panic attack. “Where are you?”He added “My Alpha's bedroom,” I responded in tears. “My dad handed me over to Alpha Chase for marriage, ” “Ken, I don't want to be with him. I don't want to be a Luna.” I added in tears. “Wait, no one is taking you away from me. You are mine as I am yours.” Ken reassured me. “What are we going to do?” I asked. I cleaned up my tears because I already felt a lot better from talking to him. “We are going away. Somewhere far where no one could ever find us .” He responded. “ Away? To where? We would be omegas if we fled! The bitches of any pack we end up in.” I exclaimed. I knew how it felt to be an omega because my mother was one. She was always treated like an outsider even until death and I wasn't ready to suffer such a fate. “Been with you is all I have dreamt of for years. And I'm not ready to let go yet.” He remarked. “Meet me at the fountain outside your Pack City by 10 pm. I will be waiting for you.” He added. I was mute because I wasn't sure I was ready to abandon my home, my friends, and my father. “Love you!” He stated as he ended the call. I fell on Alpha Chase's huge bed as I thought about it. “Was I ready to take that risk?” I asked myself as I stared at his ceiling. “Amazing structure, uh?” Alpha Chase asked as he watched me from his bedroom’s threshold. “The ceilings I mean,” He added as he noticed my confused reaction. “Come with me,” He demanded. I followed him out of the Packhouse to the graveyard where dead alphas were buried. What I saw made my eyes glitter with joy. “She deserves to be here,” He commented as I broke into tears. “I had some men move her corpse here this morning. She deserves to be among the alphas, for she gave birth to an exquisite soul.” He added. The tombstone read “Here lies Sara Clinton, a wife, and a mother ”. Seeing my mother's grave made all the good memories of her flood my thoughts. I couldn't hold back my excitement as I turned around and hugged Chase. I couldn't wrap my hands around him completely because of his muscular physique. “It's getting late, you must be tired from your trip. Let's go back up.” He said. I walked behind him as the thought of marrying him began giving me pleasant thrills. I went upstairs to find my luggage already waiting for me in his room. So, I decided to take my bath and flee when he had slept. I could feel the cold water flow down my strained body calming all my nerves as it went down my naked body. I came into the bedroom to see him stark naked on the bed. I felt chills go through my body and began salivating as I stared at his muscular nude. I belonged to someone but it was really difficult to ignore how amazing he looked. His physique, blank expression, cold smile, and thick voice were a total turn-on. I lay next to him, hoping he wouldn't make any move because I knew I wouldn't be able to turn him away. “Are you ready?” He asked, lying with his side and poking me with his hot stuff. “Ready for what?” I asked, puzzled about what he meant. “To be mine,” He grunted angrily.Lucien’s POV. I kicked the hospital doors open with my shoulder with the detectives hurrying in behind me.. Angelina was almost weightless in my arms, and her body cold and damp with her blood, a lot of it which had drenched up my shirt. Panic shot through me as i quickly laid her on the available stretcher. “Silver blade!” I blurted as one of the nurses came running up to me. “She has a deep stab wound to the stomach. She has lost too much blood, and she’s still—” “Sir, this way!” One of them urged. “We’ve got it.” Her fingers still barely clutched my shirt. Her lips were pale, cracked, and her face had gone cold. “I’ll stay with her.” I said, moving forward with them as they took her in, writing things down. “Please sir.” A nurse said, blocking my way. “We need space to take care of her. We promise to do everything we can.” I hesitated. “If she dies—” “She won’t die, but right now she’s in a tough spot. She needs every second now. It appears that she was ass
Lucien's POV.The body reeked of death and the air was chilly to the bones. From the scent and marks on the body, I could tell this one was different. His death took much time and precision, he was killed slowly. I stood beside Detective Rhea at the long table in the cold mortuary wing of the pack's police department, looking down at the newest victim. Another high-ranking wolf taken down like a prey. "This one is different from the rest of the murders." She said. I moved closer to it. The young male's body was a mess, his hands were purple, and had fingers that were crooked and swollen. "What's different about him?" I asked."Something about him must have made our killer take his time," "His fingernails were pulled out." Rhea said, voice low, almost mechanical. "One by one." I looked at the body, frowning."The killer is getting bold because this takes guts," "He was strangled after that, and there are tight ligature marks on the neck. Something strong and thin, pro
Brielle’s POV. Zane was still unconscious. He hadn’t moved, not even twitched or anything. breathing was shallow, and his skin was cold despite the thick blankets wrapped around him and the care he was receiving. I sat by his bedside, my hands trembling as I reached for his. I couldn’t bring myself to touch him at first, not because I didn’t want to, but because I was scared he’d disappear the very moment I did. “Zane.” I whispered, my voice cracking. “I’m so sorry.” Still, no response. Just the silence between us as the healers left. Lucien stood by the window, arms crossed, and he looked ready to kill. He hadn’t spoken in a while, not since they dragged Zane in and dumped the sack of heads on the floor. It was a disgusting sight. Those people had been fathers and husbands, and their lives had been ended so cruelly. “Lucien…” I finally spoke, barely able to meet his eyes. “Let me go back.” He turned slightly but said nothing. “I mean it.” I said louder this time. “Let
Zane's POV. The sorching pain woke me from the drowning darkness of my unconscious. I could feel my blood fighting the silver which was burning through my veins. I opened my eyes. Darkness, and then light. I blinked again, and the light settled. I was strapped to a chair. My arms were tied behind my back and my legs to each sides of the chair. I could feel something thugging my stomach, the sharp pain was endless. I took a look to see the knife still in me. Across from me, sprawled out on a wide, gold-accented bed with satin sheets, was Chase, and he wasn't alone. Dana, the girl I was with, laid on him. The same Dana who had said she only did what she had to do to survive. She was on top of him, naked, and riding him like he was her carriage to bliss. Her back was arched, and her soft moans floated around in the room while her hands dug into his chest. His hands gripped her waist tight, moving her on him with slow, lazy confidence like he owned her. My stomach turned. I k
Zane’s POV.Reign. That was what they called it. It was the “free city” for packs that had bent the knee to Chase and his rule. But it just sounded like a fucking joke to me. Nothing was ever free when Chase was involved. I got out of the car and looked up at the hotel they had reserved for us, this tall, shiny, and gold-tinted building. A five-star hotel in the middle of enemy land. I turned back to see my men who were already acting like we were on vacation, laughing and taking in the sweet smell of artificial freedom. They were foolish, I didn’t trust shit. “Mr Zane, sir.” The valet said with a bow. “Your rooms are ready. The girls will take your bags.” “The girls?” I frowned. And as if on cue, six beautiful women in red, beautiful dresses walked out of the hotel, each of them holding golden bowls filled with so much h fruit, grapes, cherries, pomegranates, you name it, they had it. “Welcome.” One of them purred, bowing low enough for her perfume to choke me, and fo
Brielle’s POV. Lucien stood by the window, crossing his arms. The way he stood so tensely, the worries in his mind could be sensed a mile away. He hadn’t said a word in almost ten minutes. The letter from Chase still sat on the table, mocking us with its silver seal. I still couldn’t breathe properly. My chest was too tight. “He’s summoning a meeting tomorrow.” Lucien finally spoke. "We have to device some sort of plan for this. One that stays just between us," I didn’t say anything, and neither did Zane. But then Lucien did say something that shocked me. “I’m not going there.” He said with a tone of finality. “What?” I asked him, shocked. Zane turned so fast I thought he’d break his damn neck. “You’re not what? What are you saying?” “I said that I’m not going.” Lucien repeated. “It’s obvious that that’s a trap.” Zane laughed."Oh, great. So now we’re just doing dumb shit out in the open? Is that what this is?” Lucien turned to face him. “Use your brain. Chas
