Chapter 16

   I woke up the next morning from the uncomfortable pain in my back. I realized I was still in the hospital sleeping on a chair in an uncomfortable way that made my back ache. I noticed Mr. Issac and Cyrus were still sleeping so I got up to check on Sally and Alice.

      I walked to the cafeteria first to get a coffee before making my way to Alice's room. When I got there, I noticed Sally was awake but not Alice. I walked in slowly and carefully and motioned Sally to get out in the hall. She did and as we took a walk I asked, "Did you wake up early?" 

"I couldn't sleep. I slept for like 2 hours but I spent the rest of the time on my phone," she said,

"Oh, I couldn't sleep either. Maybe we should go home and get some rest," I suggested. I was exhausted and the only thing I wanted to do was to just go home and lay on my bed even if I didn't fall asleep, which I highly doubt.
