Chapter Twenty-four

Margo watched the hotel as Bernard and his men came and went. They hadn’t really done anything suspicious as they moved about but she wasn’t stupid enough to believe what laid out in the open plain for all to see. She knew that was just a simple misdirection. It had many people fooled, even her at one time had believed the grandeur and the lies. Her eyes had been forcibly opened due to her circumstances. 

Margo watched as the last of the men walked out of the hotel before she made her move. She climbed out of her car and made her way to it’s revolving doors. She walked inside and made her way to the elevators. The opulence of the elevator made her stomach turn. It reminded her of the few times that she had been inside Bernard’s mansion.
