Aryan survived

Erica blinked like a doll, her hands were wide open with Mrs Camila hugging her tightly.

Aurelio tried his best not to laugh but he couldn’t hold himself.

“Goodness Mom!!” he exclaimed with a laugh. He looked at his father and could see he was laughing to and same as his grandpa.

“What! Why are you all laughing?” Mrs Camila pouts her lips as she turned to them.

“You have no idea of the kind of joy I am feeling from my inside! Do you know what my mom told me?” She asked almost yelling at them.

They looked at themselves seeming to find no answer from each others face, they turned back to her.

“She said I can never be a grandma! Like what type of mother will ever say something like that to her own daughter!!” Mrs Camila exclaimed and turned to Erica.

“My Dear daughter, you are welcome to this family, you can call me Lala hmm?” Mrs Camila smiled at Erica as she took her hands into hers.

Erica smiled at her as she nod her head in reply

“Yes Lala” she replied

Mrs Camila gasped as she placed her palms on her cheeks and then she covered her face in her own hands giggling.

Erica chuckled seeing her behave dramatic

“She just called me Lala! That sounds so good to my hearing” Mrs Camila giggled and pulled Erica to a hug

“I will make sure you get the perfect care that can be given by any mother” she said to her

Erica encircled her hands around her back as she hugged her in return “Thanks Lala” she whispered

“The good thing is your mom would be alive to see you carry your grandchild” Mr Maynard replied

“ But I still don’t get, why would some parents be this way for God sake!” Aurelio exclaimed

“ You see, you are blessed to have us” his father replied.

“Has Erica visited the hospital yet?” Mr Bertram asked Aurelio.

He turned to her and then his mom pulled away from the hug “No not yet sir” she replied and his eyes went wide open.

Did she say something wrong?

Erica eyes went wide too thinking she had done something wrong.

“You called me sir? When you will call her Lola?” he exclaimed.

“Are you jealous or what?” Mrs Camila laughed at him

“Off course not, why would I be.. you don’t know who I am” Mr Bertram faked he wasn’t

Erica chuckled and walked to him holding his hands “how about a sweet name for you?” she smiled as she crouched down.

Aurelio smiled at her and everyone that were watching her did same too

“Uh huh, more sweeter” he replied

“Popoli” Erica winked at him

“Much better! You are not the only one that got a nickname” Mr Bertram said to his wife and pecked Erica’s forehead.

“I’ll be a grandpa too” he smiled

“You really worked on Aurelio, thank you so much” he whispered to her ears.

“ We should take you to the hospital, you need proper care don’t you think?” he asked her

She smiled as she got up on her feet and shrugged.

“No stress please, we’ll call our family doctor to come check on her” Mrs Camila replied

“I am not sick” Erica replied

“I know dearie, we should still do some check up on you and see your health status” Mr Maynard replied.

“Okay then” Erica replied

“I hope you prepared something really good to start the day” Mrs Camila said aloud to the kitchen chefs.

One of them rushed out immediately and nodded her head.

“Breakfast is ready Ma’am” she replied

“Great! To the dining room!!!!!!” Mrs Camila exclaimed as she held Erica hand in hers.

Aryan was laid on a bed presently unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital immediately after the incident and had been unconscious after he got treated.

His father had asked the doctor several times if his son is in coma but the reply he got was, Aryan would wake up soon but might be a little late since he was beaten so badly before the accident.

Mr Khan didn’t leave his side, he had been with Aryan all through the night.

“Who did this to you? I will make them suffer!!!” he groaned with anger.

“Look at what they’ve done to your face, look at how you look like” Mr Khan felt broken seeing his son’s head was bandaged, his face was a little swollen, he had a cut on his face stitched and on top of that he had some injuries as a result of the accident.

He looked down at Aryan and could see his eyelids move before it went open slowly.

“Aryan! I knew you would survive this!!” he exclaimed immediately out of joy.

Aryan could hear the sound of the machines beep beside him, he turned to his right and saw a drip hanging and looking at his hands, he was injected with it.

He turned to his right and saw his father “Father..?” he asked lowly and tried to get up on bed.

“hey take it easy” his father said to him and supported him, he took a pillow and placed it at his back for better comfort.

“How are you feeling? You remember everything that happened right?” he asked him.

Aryan stopped to think of it, The last thing he remembered was when he was on a call with Rowan. His jaws went tight immediately “Aurelio, Rowan” he said to his Father

“I knew those bastards were behind this! What did I tell you? I told you to leave him to me, do you have to go to him yourself? Don’t you know how bad he hates you!” Aryan’s father yelled at him.

“He was already getting what he wanted father!” Aryan fired back.

“how would I sit back when I know he would attack me soon! Aurelio has gotten a lady pregnant already Father! And that woman..he has interest in her!!” Aryan yelled as he angrily threw the pillows away.

His father paused, yes he knew of the challenge his parents gave him and he could not believe Aurelio finally succeeded.

“And I know that very soon his parents would give him the position he had always wanted! Do you know what that means dad!? Aurelio won’t just be filthy rich! He would have everything, his dad company and his grandpa organization under his control, and that makes me sick to the bone!!” he yelled out but suddenly he felt a sharp headache.

“Ahh!!” Aryan gasped as he grabbed his head.

The pain was so sharp, so heavy that he felt like his head was being struck with a hammer.

“Aryan!” his Father shouted immediately as he rushed to him seeing Aryan was groaning loudly in pain.

“Doctor!!” he called out with fear

“Aryan, what’s the problem?” he asked him

“my-my-my-head, why does it hurts so—” he couldn’t complete his statement Before he fell unconscious again.

“Aryan!!!!”

The whole family gathered by the table having a very lovely breakfast. Funny enough Aurelio was still in his bathrobe.

“how long will you wear that on?” Erica asked him looking at him seated opposite her.

“as long as I am comfortable in it” he smiled and then she rolled her eyes.

“imagine” she clicked her tongue

“You don’t have manners! Don’t worry.. Erica will teach you some, you can’t wear bathrobes and walk around the mansion” his mom said to him

“Isn’t it mine” Aurelio replied like a kid pouting his lips at her.

Erica chuckled lowly as she tried to cut her grilled meat but it was just hard for her to.

“oh you think? You can never change Aurelio!! You will still be giving me headaches” his mom replied slapping her forehead

“You know I will still get you pain reliefs” he replied as he reached for his glass of water and he noticed Erica was trying to cut her meat.

He looked at her face seeing the way she frowned at it and chuckled.

Aurelio sliced the beef he had in his dish and took hers away from her then handed his to her.

“huh?” she asked him

“You should eat this” he said to her

“What is the problem?” Mr Maynard asked watching the both of them.

“Is the meat so hard?” Aurelio’s Father asked her

“Huh…” Erica asked

“What did I say?! Whosoever is in charge of the meals should make it good always! Who made this meal?” Mr Maynard half yelled.

“No,no it’s okay.. it isn’t hard, my Palms were just wet so I couldn’t hold the cutlery so well” Erica replied immediately seeing one of the chef was already trembling in fear.

Most of the meat she had been eating were soft, she has no idea why that one was still strong.

“Oh.. okay then” Mr Maynard sighed and then a guard walked to the table.

“Sir, we heard a news” he said

Everyone’s attention turned to him, Erica was wondering what could it be again.

“Spill it” Mr Bertram replied

“Aryan got into an accident and is currently in the hospital” he replied

“When?” Aurelio asked surprised by the news

“hope he isn’t dead?” Mr Maynard asked

“That bastard can’t die like that” he added

“No sir, he isn’t. He had the accident on his way home and we are still finding out if he will survive” he replied

“He has to, I’m not done with him” Aurelio replied

“That’s all for now” he bowed his head before he left.

“Damn.. that jerk is still alive? I thought you must have handled him before now honey, you know how he always hurt my son!” Mrs Camila shook her head.

Erica thought of asking,

Maybe she should start knowing a little of them.

“Sorry but who’s Aryan?” she asked lowly.

All eyes turned to her and she gulped down.

“Uhm..did I say something—” Mrs Camila cut her short

“Oh yeah you will ask, you should know that” Aurelio replied and sat up

“He is a demon” his mom replied her

“He is a bastard!” her husband added

“Not just that, he is scumbag, that guy and his family have always been trying to end this family” Mr Maynard said

“and we will give to them what they deserve..” he added

“and that makes you?” Erica asked.

He sighed “I should have expected this, questions” he replied

“I am sorry if I…”

“No you should know dear” he replied her immediately.

“Erica, this is my Dad Mr Bertram.. CEO of BerCam Paragon groups” Aurelio introduced his Dad to her.

“My mom, Mrs Camila, she is a CEO of Glowena fashion boutique. That is why you are seeing her this way” Aurelio laughed.

“Uh huh, sure!” his mom replied raising her two fingers in the air.

She slowly nod her head with a smile

“And my Grandpops, Mr Maynard..The boss, the CEO of Xithun organization. He is a Mob boss” he replied as her eyes went wide open.

“A Mafia?!” she asked

“Yep! Exactly, so I am such a wonderful son, I’ll be taking over the both of them except my mom’s business.. I don’t want that” he replied.

Erica was still thinking!

She is carrying a baby for a Mafia’s grandson?!

“So, my dear. Welcome to our family. I think we need to throw a party for this” his mom replied.

Erica was still dumbfounded.
