Aurelio could notice Erica facial expression, like she was shocked and scared.

“Are you okay pumpkin?” he asked her immediately.

Her eyes was still on his grandpa but hearing Aurelio, she turned to look at him.

“Yeah.. I uh, I am” she replied faking a smile but he could tell she was faking it.

Erica said nothing else but to look down at her food to continue.

Her hands were already shaky that she couldn’t pierce her beef, whenever she intend to pick one, her fork will go elsewhere.

Aurelio sighed seeing all that “Is she okay?” his father whispered beside him

“I don’t think so” he replied lowly

“My dear, is everything okay? You seem shaky” his Mom said to her immediately and held her hands

Erica eyes went wide immediately seeing the woman’s hand on hers.

“Mafia!” she thought immediately

“Guns, drugs! Oh my goodness!! I am literally carrying a baby for a Mafia?” she thought blinking her eyes rapidly at her hand 

“Erica.. are you okay?” Mr Maynard asked her

“Wait! I think I know what’s wrong with her now!” Aurelio laughed

“C’mon pumpkin we don’t attack citizens huh?, we are the good ones, all what we do Is to protect our loved ones okay?” Aurelio said to her

She sighed hearing that.

“OH MY GOODNESS, we should have told her that before now.. oh my dear we are the angels hmm? Sometimes Popoli can be hades himself!” she laughed lowly

“I heard that honey” Mr Bertram replied raising a brow at her with a smirk on his face.

“off course we can only be wicked to those that hurt this family, that’s the flow” Mr Maynard replied.

Erica nodded her head.

“ So don’t misunderstand us sweetheart” Aurelio replied.

 Mr Maynard cleared his throat before he spoke up

“So Aurelio, like we have said about you taking over” his grandpa said.

Aurelio turned to him to hear what he has to say and kept down his fork.

“I would have given it to you right away, but I just wanted to see the new person you would become in those two weeks, now I have seen what Erica had done to you. Thanks so much sweetheart” Mr Maynard said to Erica

“I already informed the company, there would be a meeting to inform all employees about you taking over, the files are all ready too, your office is ready too” Mr Bertram said

“ And the organization knows too that you would he their new boss” Mr Maynard replied

“Okay…” Aurelio nodded his head with a side smile

“ Are you both being serious? Just a meeting? A small party at least!” Mrs Camila said with a pout

“My son deserves it!” she replied

“ Mum it’s actually okay..” Aurelio replied her sweetly

“ No, it’s not, honey! I’ve told you.. a small party in the company” she said to her husband

“ Okay then” he replied

“I really can rest now…but still I know myself, I’d still get involved. As Long as Darkhood clan isn’t gone” Mr Maynard replied

“So Erica my dear, I wish you happy life with my son” Mr Bertram said to her

“You deserve him” Mr Maynard added

“I’ll be leaving soon Aurelio, you should be in the company in the next two hours” Mr Bertram said to him

“Alright father” he replied

   Meanwhile, at the hospital.

Mr Khan had some of his men outside the ward, he had left the ward with the doctor after he had injected Aryan with sedatives since he was restless and made his way to the doctors office.

“So what’s wrong with my son doctor?” Mr Khan asked him immediately fully knowing Aryan isn’t okay.

“is it a headache or what?”

“There is something you need to know Sir, your son would be feeling that more often, it’s as a result of the sudden rapid force on his head and neck during that accident and it has caused extreme extension and flexion of his soft tissues” the doctor started with.

“what do you mean doctor? Will Aryan be okay doctor??” he asked him immediately

“He has concussion headaches, he’s showing the symptoms already sir, and it would last for seven days or more.. I can’t be specific yet” the doctor replied

“Con what? What type of headache is that?!” he exclaimed out of fear

“will it hurt him that bad?” he added

“Concussions headache symptoms are the result of a brain injury. A direct hit to the head or a violent and sudden jerk can cause the brain to impact the inner skull walls, leading to bruising and migraine headaches” he explained as Mr Khan jaw dropped

“Symptoms may include confusion, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound and ringing in the ears. Severe concussions can be identified by anxiety, memory loss surrounding the traumatic event, slurred speech and or sleep problems, I am so sorry sir but there’s nothing I can do” the doctor said

“What do you mean nothing?! My son would experience that all?? No no no way! Do something doctor!!” Mr Khan replied

“It’s almost I can’t do anything, he would have to be on pain reliefs, after those few weeks there would be pain before it would eventually leave” he replied

“How would he endure all that! Are you sure it would leave doctor?” 

“it should sir” 

 Not too long Mr Khan returned to the ward and sat next to his son. Tears were welling up in his eyes already.

“I will not let them go away with this Aryan! I won’t, Xithun!!! Wait and see my wrath!” he yelled out

  

    Aurelio had gone back to his room to prepare for the day, he would be going to the meeting or should he say party soon?

He walked to his bed to drop his phone on the nightstand and then Erica stepped in.

He turned around hearing her foot steps.

“Ahh!!” Erica exclaimed as she shut her eyes immediately and turned around seeing he was only wearing a towel around his waist.

Aurelio laughed at her and shook his head “what? Is it something you are just seeing?” he laughed out

“what? Why would you wear that here?” Erica asked him.

“I was about to shower before you stepped in” he replied with a pout

“Then go!” she half yelled

“Won’t you turn around? Pumpkin?” he called her.

She felt goosebumps immediately hearing that name.

Aurelio noticed she said nothing then he walked to her and stood before her.

Erica could not notice until she felt his hands on her shoulder.

She jerked back immediately at his touch, her hands went down as she looked at the hot guy before her. His chest was directly Before her face, her eyes went wide immediately as she looked up to look at him.

“What?! Why are you standing here?” she asked him as she placed her hands on his chest to push him away but Aurelio held her hands and pinned it down to his chest stopping her from pulling her hands away.

Erica looked at her hand at back at him raising her brows.

“Pumpkin you smell….” She cut his statement immediately

“Yes your cologne, I couldn’t find mine that’s why I used it. Where is my bag huh? And why are you calling me pumpkin!” she asked him as she tried to jerk her hands away from his grip but he was just so strong.

“It is really good on you, we’ll go shopping after we’re done with the company. I need to fill your walk-in closet with good wears” he replied with a cute smile.

“Do you have to?” she asked him rolling her eyes

“I want to be the one to get it for you..” he replied as she looked away

“Just go shower!” Erica replied already feeling heated up 

He chuckled lowly without letting go of her “Aurelio! Go bath!!” she said to him yelling at him like his Mom.

His eyes went wide immediately as he gasped “Gosh women!” he replied but still didn’t move 

Erica had no choice but to push him away. She used all energy and strength she had to push him and luckily enough he staggered back but he crossed his hands around her waist pulling him with her to the bed.

Erica fell directly on his chest with a Yelp “Ah!”

Aurelio laughed instead as he tighten his hands around her like a Teddy bear.

“Are you insane!” she asked immediately as she looked up at him and saw him laugh instead.

“Gosh! You’re laughing now?!” she asked him as she hit him countless times before she stood up and pulled him with her to the bathroom.

Erica slid the door open and pushed Aurelio in immediately with a heavy sigh.

She could hear him still laugh “chicken!” she mouthed and slumped on the bed.

Immediately she sat down, the image of Aurelio’s chest appeared in her head.

She covered her face with her palm giggling lowly. “So hot!!” Erica smiled

She paused immediately and raised her head up “what did I just say?” she asked herself as her jaw dropped down.

“Erica?!!” 

  Aurelio could hear her shout her own name and laughed lowly. He stepped into the jacuzzi tub after taking off his towels and slowly closed his eyes.

Erica had gotten up from the bed but then she felt those vomiting sensations again.

“Oh no not now!!” she groaned and ran in to the bathroom as fast as she could.

Aurelio’s eyes went wide immediately he heard her running in. He saw her run to the wash basin immediately with her hand on her tummy and another over her mouth.

“Pumpkin??” he called immediately.

Erica puked into the wash basin and washes her face immediately, took some water into her mouth and threw it back out 

“Goodness! I hate this” she sighed and turned to see Aurelio looking at her.

“ah!” she flinched back seeing he was naked in the pool.

“Honey?” he smiled at her.

She blinked rapidly at him and wanted to run away but Aurelio grabbed her feet stopping her from leaving.

She stopped to look at him wide eyed, his body was covered with foam and he was giving her a cute puppy face.

“what….!” She whispered and immediately he grabbed her hand pulling her into the jacuzzi

“ahh!!” Erica yelped out immediately while he laughed out.

He wrapped her in his hands before she could swim out 

“Aurelio!?!” she yelled out splashing the water around

“Just call me honey and I’ll let you go” he replied with a cute face

“honey?!” she asked him

“my hair is wet all over my face now!!” she added

“Honey, why would you bath without me?” he pouted faking a sad look

Erica squeezed her face at him shaking her head “So you will have to bath again with me” he replied and reached for her zip behind.

Her eyes went wide open immediately “Honey??”

she had no option but to say the word 'honey'!
