Chapter 6

Parkers POV

It’s been a week since Saturns near death experience. The thought of my baby sister falling off the cliff has haunted me and I’m itching to find the people who saved her. I want to give them the world because they saved the person our world revolves around. It seems like they don’t want to be found either which is weird to me. Their scent stopped at the treeline of the cliff and the just disappeared so we started scouting the woods within a 5 mile radius of the cliff and decided we would expand the search from there. We started the search two days after the accident and it has been five days since we started the search and a week since the incident. We were about 2.5 miles south of the cliff when one of our Warriors seem to have run into an invisible barrier at the same time as our beta Zion.

“ what the fuck was that?” I mindlinked Zion.

“ someone has a blood protection shield right here” he responds “ look closely and you can see the way it shimmers” he adds and that causes me and Saint to both look harder and that’s when I realize he’s telling the truth. I see a faint shimmer right in front of me.

“Warriors there is a shield here. Follow the edge see if you can find a weak spot” I mindlink them . I get a chorus of “yes alpha heir”

“Parker I feel a pull to this place” Saint says “like something here is mine”

I stare at the shield and realize I feel it too and it’s getting stronger by the second.

Out of nowhere, I hear the most melodic voice I’ve ever heard in my life saying

“Awwww did the big bad wolves come to play?” Before giggling and I almost laugh at the fact that every single one of us jumped and turned to see the most gorgeous girl I’ve ever seen in my life. I froze.

She stood around 5’2 with her hands on her hips and she had waist length deep, violet curly hair with striking silver eyes. She was covered in tattoos on her clear olive skin and is curvy in all the right places. She wore black cargo pants with a bright pink tube top and some black combat boots. There’s never been a time in my life when me and my wolf we’re both stuck until now. All of a sudden, the smell of lavender and cotton candy smacks me in the face and that’s when I realize I’m staring at my mate.

“Thats our fucking mate” Saint says to me in the mindlink

“I know” I respond still reeling over the fact that my mate is a witch

A few of my warriors start to charge at her and that’s when she disappears from right in front of our eyes and then I hear her voice from above us “Hey dogs I’m up here” which causes most of us to growl at the fact that she called us dogs.

“Awww don’t growl fellas how about we play a game? It’s like fetch but we call it tag . Y’all are it” she says before she appears right on the ground in front of us again. At this point, I don’t know what the fuck to do. I’ve never dealt with a witch like her and it doesn’t help the fact that she’s my mate. I’m still staring at her when I see a tornado starting to form around her, which causes me to panic until I realize she is the one creating the tornado.

“Catch me if you can fellas” she says before the tornado starts to carry her away. That’s when I finally kick him into gear and start chasing her. Me and Saint are running neck and neck at our top speed and she is still at least half a mile away from us on her little tornado. Finally, I see her starting to lower herself to the ground, which makes me pick up speed. Me and Saint get there first followed by Zion. It takes our warriors a couple minutes before they catch up to us as well and we all circle my mate.
