The Female Alpha and her Fated Slave

Chapter 1:

Felicity

I had one job, one job as the heir and next ruler of the HowlPack. One but most important job is to find and marry a strong mate for my pack. My father, the Alpha, expects me to marry a strong male from an Alpha bloodline. My daddy was the best and wanted nothing but the best for me, my twin he could do less for her. Although twins I was born 5 minutes before my identical twin sister. Rumor had it that the reason my father sent her away was because of her that our mother and his fated mate perished while giving birth to her. Since I was born first I inherited the Alpha gene. I knew Daddy wanted a Male but he loved me all the same.

On the other hand he was strong, some called him ruthless, heartless and cruel. I had never seen that side of him. The only time I saw him remotely hostile was when my ex-fiance and arranged mate had rejected the marriage to me after explaining he had finally found his mate. Adam was the second born to the Bloodmoon Pack and thus not in line for his own throne but still of Alpha blood. Bloodmoon Pack was one of the strongest packs around. My father and Alpha Redmond had been great friends prior to finding marriage. So at the very young of 8 I was betrothed to Adam who was 10. Every year we spent summer breaks together. Often at my packhouse as he would need to familiarize himself with my pack.

Adam was sweet, we enjoyed each other immensely. When he found his mate after getting his wolf he told me immediately even before telling his family. I was overjoyed for my best friend, but saddened to know my boyfriend and chosen mate was leaving me behind.

When Adam told my father that was the first time I actually experienced the beast within him. For several months my father roared. Shortly after that he sent my twin sister Fiona away and had cut ties with Bloodmoon. He even went so far as to declare war on them during one of his drunken supers. Since then I have lived at the packhouse alone with Daddy.

“Felicity?” my father yelled up the stairs for me. “Felicity, get your ass to moving I refuse to drive you to school. I have a council meeting that cannot be missed.”

“Yes, Daddy. Almost ready” I yelled back. I checked out my reflection one last time in the mirror. My long black hair laid straight down my back, not a hair out of place. My bronze skin glowed, while my cat lined eyes showed my bright hazel eyes. One last look over my school uniform of black buckle shoes, white knee high socks, and my yellow and black plaid mini skirt that hits right above my knees. I knew I pushed the boundary there but I couldn’t help it. Lastly was my crimson polo shirt with the school's logo on the breast pocket. The pack's colors and white wolf standing howling in front of a full blue moon.

“Felicity, I mean it young lady. MOVE. YOUR. ASS.” My father bellowed at the top of the stairs. Again I loved to test boundaries.

As he returned back to the kitchen to grab my lunch and morning coffee. I came bound in with my backpack slung over my right shoulder and on my tip toe planted a quick kiss to his cheek.

“I’m ready Daddy, but again I wouldn’t need you or Rodger to take me to school if I could have my own car.” I started sweetly. Rodger was my fathers Gamma and was old as dirt and a pervert to boot. He was always checking me out in his mirrors. The man had served my father and even my grandfather.

Daddy just rolled his eyes, then they glassed over as he mindlinked Rodger to take me to school.

“Again Felicity, it is not proper for Royals to drive themselves. It is also not safe.” Daddy always said we as leaders were Royal. I always felt like we were more like an electric official as a person could challenge an Alpha and take their role. Though it wasn’t just winning the fight but of drinking their blood and having them reject their claim. Thus the electric position.

Rodger entered the kitchen in his three piece black suit. He long ago started shaving his head bald as it started to recede, though his ugly goatee was still speckled with white hair. Oh how I loathed that nasty thing. He used to have a full beard that would reach his chest covering his double chin and partly B coup man tits. In the last 2 years Rodger started to work out and lose his pot belly and tone up. Yet, still he was utterly repulsive.

“Alpha,” Rodger started bowing his head, before directing his attention to me. “Princess,” he stated with a smirk that looked like he was undressing me with his eyes. “Should we get going Princess.” Goddess, I hated it when he said princess that way. I wasn’t opposed to the princess part but the slimy way he stated it.

“Yes, Alpha” bowed Rodger.

“Bye, Daddy.” I said, pecking him on the cheek before moving out the door with Rodger behind me. I would feel his eyes gliding up and down my body, and landing solely on my ass.

Once we arrived at the pack school I jumped out as quickly as possible, like before the vehicle even came to a complete stop and ran up the stairs to my school. I would take school any day over dealing with pedo Rodger. Shifters mainly of the wolf community are extremely protective of their women and children pups and would never do anything to cause them harm. Most women aren’t even allowed to be alone with a boy or to physically touch until their mating ceremony. Yet this was typically why mating ceremonies happened so fast for fated mates because the pull to be with them was so intense that I had heard some women stating that they could have an orgasm from just being in the same room as their moon goddess fated mate. While there is that pull to attraction and love it is still not unheard of to hear of a shifter wolf to beat, harm and in some rare cases kill their mates, women, men and pups. Yet because if you harm your mate you will ultimately feel the same pain the evidence of abuse and and or killing is harder to prove as there must be sound and undeniable evidence to present to the shifter council.

The shifter council is composed of elders of different breeds. Essentially the council is a bunch of old farts that were completely corrupt and could be easily bought off. My friend Lana had told me about this Pack that still dealt in slavery.

I knew Rodger could hurt me as I still hadn’t gained my wolf yet therefore haven’t yet acquired my ability to shift, heightened hearing, sight and smell, enhanced speed and most important the ability to heal fast. I was very aware that Rodger, the man in charge of training new soldiers and guard rotations was capable of causing me great harm but never stopped me from flipping him the birdf, calling a pedophile or telling him to fuck off. Rodger wouldn’t touch me cause my father was his Alpha. After getting out of Rodgers car I yelled back at him to fuck off and flipped him the bird. Before I fully made it out of sight I heard him reply “One day little wolf, one day.”

I cringed as I entered the school. Lana bounds up to me chatting animatedly about the party that is happening after Friday's basketball game.

“Lana, you know I can’t go” I said. Since Adam up and left at the beginning of the school year almost every night was spent meeting new potential matches. Ugg I moan internally. Although this weekend there were no visiting Alphas sons, I knew I still couldn’t go and asking would only solidify a harsh punishment. I know Daddy never meant to ever hurt me. but he was an Apha with no Luna to take off the pressures. Last night I had left a mess in the kitchen while attempting to finish my advanced bio homework. I fully knew better but Lana had called crying about her latest fling fizzling out.

“Lemme guess another hot alpha son you have to woo” Lana said shaking her head as she rolled her eyes and popped her gum.

“Ya, got me Lana” I said lying but not wanting to explain hiding out in my room with the curtains drawn, lights off and recovering from yet another possible concussion. I truly cannot wait till I gain my wolf and am able to super speed heal.
