Selena’s POVI was excited and I couldn’t deny that but a part of me was still anxious and I knew it was because I hadn't seen Alpha yet to be sure that he was completely fine. I still couldn’t stop smiling though and it was because I knew that Alpha succeeded and didn't get hurt in the course of the attack. Selena’s POVAfter eating, we finally began our discussion about the next plan that we had to work on immediately before Raymond would be able to get new soldiers because that was just going to make our effort be in vain and we would have to start all over again. “So what next Alpha, are we doing anything this time or will it just be you and the soldiers?” Lily asked Alpha and he sighed before he wrapped his arms around my waist since I was still sitting on his thighs and he was silent for a while, like he was deep in thought before he finally spoke.“I want us to get the random attacks over with quickly and from my calculation, three attacks would do it to weaken the palace’s security so we have two more attacks to carry out before the big one” he said then he averted his gaze from where he was staring into space and looked at Lily.“The next attack is going to be tonight again. I know Raymond like the back of my hand and I know he would think whoever the attackers are won’t return

Selena’s POVWe began to train and training was fun for me. I was feeling good after seeing the defeated look on Raymond’s face and the want to see him like that the more was just so strong that it was hard for me to fight it.Laisha, who was training with me as I threw punches at the bag that she held suddenly let the bag go before she sat on the floor and she crossed her arms to make an X sign while I looked at her, while wondering why she suddenly stopped.“I get that you’re ecstatic and all Selena, but girl! Selena’s POVWhen I woke up, I was sure that a lot of time had passed and the room was completely dark so I couldn’t even make out or recognize where I was. There was a little stream of light coming through the little window that was up high in the wall though and I could tell from the moon light that it was already night and I wondered if Alpha had gone through with the plan. I wondered if Lily would be able to tell him about my predicament and I couldn’t help but also wonder what he was going to do about it.I hoped that he wasn’t going to lose his cool and do something rash because it could get him caught by Raymond and that was going to be the end of our plan so I only hoped that he was still going to go ahead with the plan without letting his feelings get the best of him while I faced Raymond and whatever he was going to do to me.Then I tried to move from the chair where I sat but I then realized I was tied up and I couldn’t move an inch unless the ropes were loosened. I just kept on pacing to and fro in the room and I couldn’t even bring myself to leave for the night because I was scared that Raymond could do something to Selena by harming her. That was if he hadn’t begun torturing her already and just the thought of that got me more infuriated and scared for her sake.“Damn it Lily, what do we do now? We have to get her out of there before he hurts her beyond her limit. We can’t just leave her there with him to have his way and you know that, she’s my mate and it is my duty to protect her, I can’t just let her remain there for him to have his way with her. He’s going to blame her for these attacks and would want to know everything by forcing her to tell him what she knows. I trust Selena to not say anything but I don’t trust Raymond, that bastard would go to any length to get what he wants and I really hope he doesn’t kill her while doing that” I rambled on and on while Lily just sat down silent

Selena’s POVIt was a difficult task to have to endure everything that Raymond did to me and on a few occasions, I felt my will breaking but when I remembered that Lily was going to come for me and I was going to be with Alpha soon, my resolve to endure it all only got stronger and I could see the frustration on Raymond’s face, he was getting tired because I wasn’t yielding but then, he should have known that.I’m a soldier or I could say I was a soldier and I will always stick to the rule of secrecy because that’s what we do for our teammates all the time.Raymond stopped electrocuting me for the hundredth time and I couldn’t even feel anything again after the shock died down in my body but my head was still ringing and my nose was bleeding. Selena’s POVI finally woke up and I found myself in a room that I had never been or seen before. Once I was fully awake after taking in everything around me with my eyes, I sat up with a start while wondering where I was because I couldn't remember coming to such a place and the last thing I could remember was a blurry memory of how I was laying in Alpha’s hands and he looked extremely angry but I wasn’t even sure if that actually happened.Or did Raymond change my room after finding out I passed out? I thought to myself as I sat still in the bed while listening attentively for any sound to know if someone was coming or not.Suddenly, the door went open and I just froze as I stared at the person that opened the door with wide and scared eyes and I watched as his eyes went wide too when he saw I was awake. Then he closed the door again and I heard his footsteps as he ran off to where I didn’t know and I was left more confused as I wondered what was happening.I didn’t know the person
