Kabanata 6

Rule

Tulala ako sa kawalan habang nasa veranda ng aking kuwarto. Hinayaan kong liparin ng hangin ang mahaba at itim kong buhok.

Suminghap ako at hindi mapigilan ang mangilid ang luha sa mga mata. Ilang araw na mula nang mag-usap kami ni Liam tungkol sa nangyari.

It was a calm conversation as if we both wanted to get rid of it. We had a small talk about what happened between us, about my resignation, and about his flight after he felt better.

He already ended our connection with each other as I asked him to forget everything.

I took a deep breath, feeling heavy in my heart. Although we are finally good after our mistakes, my conscience still bothers me.

Natatakot ako.

Hindi ko alam kung paano sasabihin kay Ken ang lahat. I know anytime soon, kapag kinasal na kami ay malalaman niya rin ang totoo.
