45: A Bit Deep

I was so lost in thought I didn’t realize we had walked all the way to the Alpha floor. A shower would be great right now.

“What are you thinking about?” Easton asked with a small smirk.

“A shower.” I replied as I opened the apartment door.

I heard Easton mumble under his breath while I walked towards the bathroom. I turned the shower on and stripped out of my clothes while waiting for the water to warm up.

I stood admiring the enormous bathroom. I’d been in here plenty of times already, but never truly looked at it until now. It was very modern, and the separate bathtub had to be big enough for four people. The toilet was on the other side of a half wall, and the walls were painted a light smoky grey.

I was torn from my admiration when two large arms wrapped around my waist from behind.

“You sure are looking hard at the bathtub for someone that was thinking about a shower.” Easton whispered.

I turned my head to look at him and smirked, “I was just waiting on you.
