The Future Luna's Beta

The MoonLight Pack is not only one of the biggest Pack's in the land, but also one of the oldest. How old, no one really knows anymore, only that we have two temples that a line with the moon rising on the summer and winter solstice. These temples have been closed for centuries and no one is allowed in. Because of this, rumors started spreading around the pack about what might be inside, how they where built and so on. Of course, a good portion were scary and had no historical facts to them.

Other than the temples, the MoonLight Pack is located in a really big horseshoe, with only one way in and out of the pack. All around the border, is a huge mountain rang. There is a really big forest all round, where the pack members are able to go and let their wolfs out to run, without getting into any kind of trouble from the outside world. A little half way up the east side of the mountain is an water fall, with a huge pool of water right under it.

In the middle of the horseshoe, is the MoonLight Pack. Which spans about 20 to 30 acres. To the North and South sites the temples of the moon goddesses. Which a line with a space between the peaks of the mountain, which allows the moon and temples to a line twice a year. In the Middle of the Pack is a big stone work showing the packs symbol, a full moon with a white wolf looking up at it and her beta keeping a look out. Making sure that she is safe at all times. Then, when the full moon rises into the night sky, right over the packs symbol, it's light shines show bright, it feels like the moon goddesses herself had blessed the MoonLight Pack.

Well, that was how Alethra felt when she was little, when all she knew without a dubt, that her family loved her, for just being her self. Without expecting her to choose between staying with them, the life she has always known or to go where she feels she is meant to be. To find the person, her person, the one she is meant to protect. She has heard about the mate bond and how it can feel like it is pulling you to the person that is meant to be your other half and how it can make you feel whole. But the feeling she was getting wasn't from the mate bond. It was from something more powerful than the mate bond. A connection so powerful that it has kept her up meany nights, trying to find.

Alethra knew without a doubt that her mate was not in MoonLight Pack, but something more. She also knew that if she didn't find the person she is meant to proctect, then her mate wouldn't be able to sense or find her. Even if she was standing right in front of him. It was something that her parents explained to her a few days ago. Right before her 18th birthday, the day when the bond with the pack will be lefted from her. And she would be f*e to go and find her. Her person, her Luna.

She didn't know how she knew that the person she is meant to protect will be a Luna, it is just a feeling that her and her wolf feel. And even if she at times questions her own feelings, she couldn't question her wolf's. While she still has a lot of unanswered questions, she knew one thing. That no matter what happens, she couldn't stay at MoonLight Pack. So, while she was sitting at the cliff, next to the waterfall, looking down at the Pack that she has been with since she was born. Alethra started to make a plan, to get the answers that she needed. Knowing to well, that her parents wouldn't tell her everything. It seemed to her, that they didn't even want to tell her about her mate not being able to sense or find her. But did anyways, hopping that she would make the decision to stay.

There is just one thing that they don't know, she has been able to talk with her wolf, since she was 13 and had her first shift three years later. All because she has been actively been trying to find her person, even through she is unable to leave the pack yet. And she is getting close in knowing where to find her. Or at least a general direction to go to be able to find her. At first Alethra wanted to tell her parents about being able to speak with her wolf and being able to shift. But when she got home, her wolf stated that she got a sense that it wasn't a good idea to do so. So, she kept it to herself and her wolf started hiding herself, so no one could sense her.

So, while she sat there looking down at the pack and making her plan, she saw something that had her taken aback. She had to use her wolf sight, just to make sure that she was seeing what she thought. And sure enough, coming though the packs gates, was the Alpha son's car. He and his best friend (the future Beta and the current Beta's son) have come back from Alpha school. Well, there goes the peace, Alethra thought to herself. For the past few years, the Alpha son's girlfriend and her friends have been leaving her alone. They even stopped spreading rumors about her and the pack had stopped talking about her behind her back. And would even say hi to her at times.

That is all about to change and really quickly too. Not only that, with them being back, it is going to make executing her plan that much more difficult. Not impossible, just more difficult and some replanning. Alethra asked her wolf for her thoughts on the issue at hand.

Her wolf thought about the new development for a little bit and than stated for them to keep with the first step of the plan. Because almost everyone, will be at or heading to the pack house to welcome them home. Which is going to make it easier to get to and talk to a family member that she hasn't been able to talk to for quite some time. Alethra knew that her wolf was correct and knew that they couldn't stay here any longer. Or their now open window would close really quickly. Alethra stood and decided to take the only quick way down and jumped

Right before she got to the pool of water, that is under the waterfall. Alethra transform into her wolf. In her wolf form, Alethra is able to not only take the impact from hitting the water from such a hight, but also able to get back up to the surface really quickly. Before breaking the surface fully, her wolf just let her nose up. Not only to get a breath but also to make sure that no one was around. They have been really good these past few years in making sure that no one saw her. But there is always a chance, that someone could be in the area.

After making sure that the area was clear, they got out of the water and her wolf did a little shake, to get some of the water off of her fur. And then looked down at the water to see her reflection. Alethra has a beautifully wolf, she is fully black, with sliver through out, giving off a faint simmer and a crusent moon on her forehead, which seems to give off a faint glow at times. Her wolf let Alethra enjoy looking at the reflection in the water for an momment, before heading to one of their hidding spots that held a backpack full of clothes. It was just one of many that they have hidden around the pack, to be able to have on hand. Just in case someone sees them.

After retrieving her hidden backpack, they started heading in the direction of the training field. That is where he works, it took awhile for Alethra to memorize his schedule since he never comes home and it seemed like he didn't want to see (let a lone talk) to her. So, she has to force the encounter herself. He will see and speak with her, since he has been the only one in the family to step outside of the pack (to her knowledge so far). And might have some of the answers she is looking for. Her older Brother and former best friend, Elzie.
