Chapter Two: Going to the Training Area

Alethra's wolf got them to the training area in no time at all. She shift back into her human form, got the clothes out of the backpack and got dressed. She went to a near by tree and climbed up it, to be able to get a better view of who might be still in the area and who has already left. Looking over the training area, Alethra is able to see a lot of the wolfs have already left for the pack house. But she could still see a few omega's still cleaning up and her brother talking to one of the warrior's from the pack. She jumped to another tree that was a little close to where her brother and warrior were talking, so that way she could see and hear them without using her wolf's abilities. This is because, the more she used them, the more the risk that someone would be able to sense her wolf. And let not just her parents know, but the pack's Alpha and Luna as well. Even through she liked the Alpha and Luna, something in her told her not to let them know. So, she got really good at not being seen or heard.

Alethra looked down at her brother Elzie and was surpised to see how handsome he had become. Dark black hair, with silver running through it (just like her hair and her wolf's fur). He had their father's face (strong and determined), just over 6 feet tall and their mother's ocean blue eyes. Alethra could see why many female wolf's wanted to go out with him. But Elzie always told her, that he wouldn't be with anyone but his mate. And hope to be able to find her and bring her back to meet their parents, her of course (he stated laughing) and Lara. Of course this was before he turn 18 and got his wolf, before he left for 4 years. She didn't even know that he had returned, and was in school taking some extra credit classes, (that wasn't really didn't need, but thought would be good to have). And no one told her, not their parents or Lara. Found out by accident. Was walking to the training area, to get in a little practice before morning classes and had to do a double take, because there he was, her brother talking with the Pack's Gemma.

She stated walking/running to him, all happy that he was finally home. But when Elzie saw her, he didn't return the happiness that she was feeling. The look that he gave her was of dislike to even hatred. And she stopped in her tracks, even her wolf was sad that their brother didn't want to see them. Even through he didn't know that she had her wolf, they knew that they could tell him. Well, before gave her this look and turned around and walked away.

A few of the pack warrior's came over and tald her that the training area was off limits for the time being and to come back tomorrow. Since, there was still some time before school, Alethra went home and asked her parents about Elzie, explaining that she already saw him at the training area. They confirmed that he has been home for about a year now. But she wasn't allowed to see or talk to him. That was almost two years ago and things have changed. She needed answers and fast.

Alethra listened to them talking about what happened during todays training and what could be improved upon. The warrior asked Elzie if he would like to join the warrior's of the pack. But the look Elzie gave indicated that this question has been asked before. Elzie politely declined, stating that he was needed at home. The warrior said okay, but that he is always welcomed, if he ever changed his mind. At this they shook hands and went their separate ways. Since she got really good at moving through the trees, Alethra followed him, until they where a good ways away from the training ara and from anyone else. Then she made her presence known.

Hello Elzie, it has been a long time. Alethra said.

Elzie looked around but couldn't see anyone or sense anyone either. But then again, his wolf hasn't been its self since the night of the first shift.

Alethra laughed.

Why does no one ever look up, when trying to see who is in the area. Alethra said.

And jumped down from the tree she was just in and then leaned against it, with her feet crossed in front of her. Giving her brother the chance to recover from the shock that she was there, but also from the fact, that he was being followed without him knowing. When Alethra saw that the shock had pasted, she spoke before he could.

You know I wanted to be there for you and to meet your wolf, that night. The Alpha came over, right as I was about to leave and gave one of his Alpha commands. To stay home and to keep not only the windows closed, but also the curtains as well.

Before going on, she made sure that they were completely alone. After confirming this, she stated.

You know that his commands have never worked on either of us, and that we both have been acting like they have. I thought about sneaking out and going anyways, but the Alpha put some warrior's at the house. So, I couldn't leave without revealing that his Alpha command didn't work on me. So, if this is the reason why you are made at me and that we are no longer friends, then I do apologize. I wanted to be there.

Elzie just looked at her for a while before stating, I was upset that you weren't there. And that our parents and Lara was (who was only 7 at the time). After I had some time to think on it and let the hurt go, I knew that you would have been there if you could have. He saw the surpise look on his sister face and had to ask. You didn't know that they where there when I first shifted?

Alethra shook her head and said, I didn't. When I got home to change from training and to get your gift, no one was home. Like I said, I was about to leave when the Alpha showed up. I thought that they might be at the pack house, with Lara. And that for some reason the Alpha didn't want any of us there. So, I waited at home, got all my homework done for the next week, took a shower. Even after doing all of that, I didn't see anyone come home that night. I didn't see anyone until after school and training the next day. Our parents stated that you had already left the pack lands, to try to find your mate.

I didn't see you again, until that day by the training area, when you were talking with the Gemma. But the look you gave me wasn't what I thought it would be and then the warrior's told me not to come back to the training area until the next day. I didn't know that you where back and when I asked our parents they stated that you had been back for almost a year. But didn't want to see or speak with me. I never knew why and was a little hurt. In the end, I granted your wish and stayed away. I wouldn't even be here now, if I didn't need some answers. And why all of a sudden, our partents told me that my mate wouldn't be able to sense me, even if I was standing right in front of him. Until I find the person I am meant to protect.

Elzie look at his little sister and saw how beautiful she has become, since the last time he was actually near her. Her hair was like his, black with silver running through it, the only difference is that her hair was really long. He kept his hair short. They both have ocean blue eyes like their mother and a strong bone structure like their father. He also saw that she is tall, just under 6ft. And she was looking at him, waiting for him to make up his mind to believe her or not. Elzie asked his wolf Orion for his thoughts.

Even through his wolf hasn't been the same since the first shift, Elzie still considered him a really close friend. And he knew without a doubt that he wouldn't lie to him, actually most of the time Orion was quit blunt and wasn't sorry for it.

Orion laughed inside his head and stated of course I am and you wouldn't want me any other way. And to answer your question, She is telling the turth and I also think she has gotten her wolf. I am unable to be certain, because of what happen to us. It is just a feeling, like she is keeping a part of herself hidden, not just from the pack but from us as well.

Also Elzie, I don't think she will trust us with the information, if she does have her wolf. We haven't been showing her that we trust her, why would she trust us without us giving her something first? I would like to hear the questions that she is trying to find the answers to.

Elzie believed his wolf and asked, if she is telling the truth, does that mean that Lara has been lying to us this whole time?

His wolf thought about it and said, yes, it means that she has been lying to us. And has found away to keep me from knowing.

This made Elzie mad, he didn't like being lied to or even tricked into believing something false. And it seemed that their parents, little sister Lara, The Alpha, Luna, Beta and Gemma all have a plan for him. And a part of that plan was to keep him and his little sister Alethra at odds with each other, so they wouldn't want to see, let alone talk to each other.

He looked back at Alethra and said I believe you, lets talk. But not here, it is to out in the open and anyone can come by.

Alethra nodded her head as she pushed off of the tree, and said, lets go, will follow your lead.
