Chapter 10

THREE YEARS LATER

Life after my parents died was hard. Being a 15 year old halfbreed, who had yet to get her wolf who now had to raise her younger siblings. Not impossible, just a hell of a lot more difficult.

It definitely helped when my wolf Elly entered the picture. She was strong. Not surprising considering I carried beta blood. We began eating better as she could hunt faster than me. The heightened senses also made it harder for others to surprise us.

We had many run-ins with rogues. Most were hostile, but a few were good honest people. We began travelling together and slowly we became a family. A pack. Eventually we found a relatively safe place to settle and begin a new life.

We built houses, a school and even a hospital. Our number was made up of all kinds. It was mostly werewolves, but we also had quite a few vampires, witches and surprisingly a few hunters. Most of the supernaturals left due to corrupt leadership, being born rogue or being falsely accused.
