“Princess, why do you always sit and stare at the ceiling when you wake up? Is there something bothering you, my love?” Damien asked as he sat next to me on the bed, “A penny for thoughts, please, because I'm worried about you.”

“Nothing bothers me, dad. I was just thinking about my life and how grateful I am,” I replied.
