Chapter Two

Chester walked in majestically and handed an envelope branded with Havard badge, with much enthusiasm, Mr. Smith opened it as if not believing that his son has handed him an envelope from Harvard, the University which was of his own dreams.

"Congratulations my son," Mr. Smith congratulated him, he could not hide joy that had spread over his face and covered up his pale face.

The atmosphere in the room changed instantly, they started to plan on how their son will be moving to United States for his studies in one of the most prominent universities.

"I envy you Chester," his sister said to him while moving to his place, "I wish it could be me."

"You don't have to be jealousy because of your brother's success," Mrs. Smith intervened with a smile on her beautiful face, "life is not a bed of roses Chelsea, you have to work hard, I had always seen him work more, spending sleepless nights."

"Yes mum, talk to her, she's ever sleepy like a teddy bear," Chester replied with finality in his voice.

They had a happy family chat before they had a word of prayer. Chester and his sister Chelsea, each moved to his closet.

"I don't wanna part from you," Chelsea said to him childishly, "I will miss you when you fly to America."

"I will be sending you mails and photos of that lucrative college," Chester comforted her as he entered his room and then closed the door behind him.

Chester stood on the shore of an island, it was an enormous island of about seven kilometers length and five kilometers breadth.

It seemed to him like it was dome-shaped with an opeque glass one could not see through. He made one step towards the glass then he heard lightning sound and flash of red and white lightening strike at once.

"The last saint is at the shore, he has arrived to challenge our developments," he heard an announcement coming from the dome-shaped glass just after the lightning has struck.

Instantly the atmosphere which had been gay turned cloudy and dark, rumbling continued to be heard from a distance and flashing of lightning continued.

The ligtening that had struck first time caused a crack on the glass and the glass which was opeque at first became transparent so that he could see what was happening inside the dome-shaped glass.

He advanced closer to the glass but he felt some force as if repeling him from coming closer to it. From a distance, he looked inside to see what was happening.

He was vexed by what he saw, the city seemed to be advanced much technologically than any other place he has ever been to. He saw the city full of teenagers who seemed full of life, they were busy doing their own things, they appeared happier than any other place he has ever witnessed, but from his inner abilities, he saw they were crying tears of blood which made him frightened.
