That night, Noelle lay beside Silas, tilting and turning on the soft high bed in the cabin. She kept muttering incoherent words as she deamt. In the dream, Issar, Voren’s twin, loomed before her, his eyes intimidating and taunting as he chanted words that swirled in dark magic. His voice reverberated, consuming the space they were in.

“Give me back what belongs to me.” The words sent shivers through Noelle, it didn’t feel like a nightmare, her heart was beating fast and her palms were sweating.

  • The Lycan Alpha’s Beloved Luna   A Tenuous Truce

Noelle looked at her father, her heart beating fast as she waited for his answer. She had prepared herself for disappointment, for the heavy ache of his refusal. But when Marcus nodded slowly, his eyes thoughtful, she could hardly believe it.“Yes,” Marcus said, his voice calm but resolute. “I’ll give my consent for you to be with Silas.”The words were scarcely out of his mouth when Noelle flung herself into his arms. “Thank you, Father!” she cried, clutching him tightly. “Thank you! I didn’t think... I didn’t think you’d actually say yes.”He chuckled, though there was a hint of sadness in his eyes. “Noelle, you mean everything to me. I may not like Silas, or his father, but I’ve seen the way he looks at you. I see how he’d do anything to keep you safe.” He held her at arm’s length, his gaze steady. “But there is one condition. I need to meet with King Nico first.”Noelle pulled back slightly, her face falling with concern. “Father... you don’t have to do that. You’ve already done e

  • The Lycan Alpha’s Beloved Luna   A Reckoning with Guilt

The morning sun was already high in the sky when King Nico knocked on Silas's door. He paused, waiting for an answer. Silence. He knocked again, louder this time, but no response came. Frowning, he reached for the handle and slowly pushed the door open, revealing an untouched bed and an empty room with the thick curtains fully draped to cover the windows.“Where has he gone?” he muttered, glancing around as if Silas might simply be hiding. He pulled out his phone and dialed Silas's number, but it rang and rang, finally going to voicemail. A sick feeling stirred in Nico's stomach. Silas hadn’t returned, nor had he picked up his calls. All day, Nico paced the palace halls, checking every corner, calling Silas every few hours, but still, there was no sign of him. By nightfall, unease had turned to a hollow ache.As he sat alone in his chamber that night, guilt crept in, wrapping around him like a dark fog. The secrets he had buried over the years, the betrayals he had chosen to forget,

  • The Lycan Alpha’s Beloved Luna   Confronting the Past

Marcus couldn’t believe that he would do this one day, summoning Silas for a serious discussion and not summoning him to kill him. Standing by the edge of the sea, the waves crashing softly against the shore, Marcus looked out at the horizon, his gaze hard yet thoughtful. When Silas arrived, he approached cautiously. His relationship with Marcus had never been a close one, Infact, he had inherited his father’s enmity for him. This unexpected meeting felt strange. Yet for Noelle's sake, he would do whatever was asked. If Marcus was going to be his father in-law, then he needed to be submissive. As Silas neared, Marcus turned to face him, his expression placcid as his eyes narrowed. “Thank you for coming,” Marcus began, his intimidating voice less of it.Silas gave a respectful nod before he responded. “I came for Noelle,” he admitted, glancing around as if expecting to see his men appear. “I didn’t expect... well, you know.”Marcus allowed himself a rare, brief smile. “I understand. • The Lycan Alpha’s Beloved Luna   Homecoming and Heartfelt Conflicts

Noelle couldn’t wait to get to her father’s mansion. She hadn’t ever thought that she would have missed Marcus that much like she did. As she approached the grand entrance, she could see the imposing structure, its opulent facade glistening in the afternoon sun. Marble pillars framed the entrance, and lined-up carvings adorned the doors, reflecting the legacy of the family that resided within. As she stepped from the car, the sound of hooves on the cobblestone echoed softly. The guards, clad in their polished uniforms, snapped to attention. Their faces broke into wide smiles as they recognized her.“Miss Noelle! Welcome back!” one of the guards called out, his voice booming with warmth. Noelle noticed how their tone have changed to a respectful one which showed that they knew about her status as Marcus’s daughter now.“It’s good to see you, my lady!” another chimed in, stepping forward to help her with her suitcase. Noelle smiled, her heart lifting at their enthusiastic greetings. As

“Silas,” Noelle began, pulling back slightly to meet his gaze. “I need to go home for a few days. I want to spend some time with my father. He needs to know that… I’m with you now.”Silas’s expression shifted, a flicker of fear crossing his face before he masked it with a composed smile. “Do you think he’ll also be happy about it?” he asked, his tone light, but the tension in his voice betrayed him.“I hope so,” Noelle replied, her brows furrowing slightly. “Marcus is my father. I believe he wants me to be happy, even if it’s with someone like you.”Silas chuckled softly, trying to lighten the mood. “Someone like me? A prince with a penchant for trouble?”“No,” Noelle said, her eyes sparkling with affection. “You’re my prince. I just want him to see that.”Silas looked down, his jaw tightening. “It’s just… I know Marcus too well. What if he doesn’t approve? I don’t want to put you in a difficult position. You won’t leave me if he doesn’t approve right?”Noelle reached up, brushing her

She sat up in fear, but as she felt Silas’s hand gently holding hers, her body relaxed a bit. It was a dream afterall, she thought. He pulled her close, wrapping his arm around her, his fingers stroking her hair to calm her. “Did you have a bad dream?” he asked soft
