Chapter 11

Nova’s pov

A light yet hearable knock was what woke me up from sleep. I tossed and rolled out of bed to get the door for whoever was by the door.

I slid my feet into the flip-flop that was laid beside the table, I rubbed my sleepy eyes with the back of my hand and dragged my feet towards the door.

I gripped the doorknob and opened the door. A woman whom I assumed to be in her early 50s, gave a slight bow before entering the room, followed by three other unfamiliar ladies that quietly trailed behind her.

“Good morning, Princess Nova.” the woman greeted and I bowed to her in respect. “My name is Anika, and I'm the head maid for the Royals,” she added and I nodded my head.

I didn't know where she was heading with her introduction, but I wished she could just do whatever she came to do, so I could go back to sleep.

“Yes, head maid Anika, how may I help you?” I yawned, rubbing my eyes with my index fingers.

“It’s Coronation Day, and I came in person to get you to dress for your Coronation.
