Chapter 70 - One More Sleep

Marly POV

It had been a couple of days since the attack. Everything was getting back to normal; or as normal as it could get. The King had made the difficult decision to return to the palace to address some concerns there. He did not leave before he had a team of guards left behind to help Carson manage the Rogue situation. And I knew it was also to leave additional protection for me.

After much discussion, the King had decided to come clean about his brother to the public. He wanted to acknowledge that he had two children, twins, who were kidnapped at birth. And the reasons why he and the Queen had not known it had happened. There was a huge outpouring of love for the King and Queen, which helped them start the healing process.

We had made the choice not to have me announced as his daughter until we were able to find their son – my brother. It would be easier to make that announcement with both of us standing with him. And
