Chapter 2

"Listen Ethan, do not mess this up. Claire Dalton, she is your target this time. She is our only hope of ever entering the upper class, don't mess this up. Don't be Weak."

I nodded and quietly slipped out of the car. He didn't even care to remind me to always wear and inject the correct dose of my suppressant. He was only consumed with his greed.

The bulky man silently led me inside the school building. The building towered to the sky and the entire atmosphere was eerie. I sighed within me. Just two years, I can do this.

A young help led me to a locker room. She wore a red and white uniform and from her scent, she's a Beta, a high class beta. Her face was stern as she directed me into the male dorm.

After settling in, my room is the last on the floor and I get to share a room with another recessive Alpha which I'm glad about, because then I wouldn't have to worry about him discovering my scent when I shower or in heat. Recessive Alphas don't have scent detection like the dominant Alphas.

The door was pushed open. Startled, I picked up a pillow to cover my bare chest. Two tall guys walked in looking shocked.

"Your room mate is finally here. I thought you'd get the whole room to yourself this fall again." The paler looking guy said, his eyes checking me up and down, his expression unreadable.

"Hello, I am Jax, pure blood year." The other guy with messy hair and lazy eyes said with extended hands.

"Hi, I am Ethan." I said briefly and for a moment, the other boy burst into laughter, sending me into a feat of panic.

"What the Fuck Brad, have a ounce of decency for once, would you?" Jax scolded with a not so happy smile.

"I'm sorry about that, this is Brad, same pure blood year." Jax introduced with a smile and his hand still extended.

Not wanting to appear rude, I took his hand for a shake and let go immediately, Brad turned to look at me with a raised brow.

"I'm sorry about that. I am not usually like this, it's just so rare to see such a pretty Alpha in this school."

He extended his hand after his words and I hesitated. I mean he didn't seem that harsh but his words contradicted his actions.

"Come on man, I'm not that scary. Wait till you encounter those Dominant Alphas. What would you do then?" Brad teased as he forcefully took my hand in his, I smiled gratefully and turned to continue arranging my corner.

The decoration of the room was plain but elegant. Jax's corner was messy and unkept while my bed looked recently cleaned and changed.

"Ohh... A cleaner came in here to arrange all this yesterday, they don't usually come, you know." Jax said and I nodded. He smiled and turned to Brad as they continued discussing in a not so quiet voice.

Suddenly, a loud bang resounded in the whole room. It was so unexpected that my heart nearly jumped off my chest, Jax and Brad groaned loudly.

"Man give me a break."

"Sorry, what was that about?" I asked as I approached them, Jax turned to me with a frown.

"You are not dressed in your training boots yet? It's time for training."

"Training, but I just arrived. Surely I'd be given a little time to adjust."

"Alpha's aren't seen as weak and so we don't need time, don't let the captain catch you late."

I sighed loudly, and hurriedly put on my training clothes. My father had everything arranged already. The uniforms were personally delivered and even the rules and regulations to abide by were read to me. I opened the door of my room with a map in hand, a bit old fashioned one which was the only way I knew to find the training ground.

"Hey sissy!" A loud deep voice made me pause in my tracks. Behind me, I heard a feat of chuckles and slowly I turned to meet a set of students, all looking intimidating and tall. My mind skipped instantly as my face darkened, oops!

Not on my first day.

Crap!

I turned back slowly. They were all Dominant Alpha's. The trio were masculine and well built, their facial features didn't fall short either. My face turned rigid. I just knew they would be difficult to deal with.

"What did you just call me?" I asked with a cold voice and an expressionless face. The three looked shocked and exchanged glances before the grey eyed fellow smirked and drew closer to me. I stood my ground, neither backing away or bringing down my head.

“How interesting, he is such a tiny thing yet so domineering, sincerely I’m impressed." He taunted as he circled me, I inhaled sharply.
