Aria’s POV

Perhaps they didn’t understand what I meant by that as they ended up exchanging confused glances again.

“How does it benefit us?”

Hans asked on their behalf.

“Every good person in the kingdom is commending the seven pack Alphas’ efforts for removing the Rogues' investment from their packs. They are all saying you guys stood up for the innocent lady that was tortured to death in the Bloodmoon pack which is what the king and the supreme Alpha should be doing.”

They nodded their heads

  • Return Of The Alpha Heiress    Almost caught up

Aria’s POV My heart leapt and my eyes snapped wide in shock. “Come on. What will the Alpha be doing here dressed like a hobo?”They were whispering to each other but their voices were audible for me to hear. What if that wasn't me? Then they would have ended up fighting with a stranger. “Let’s hurry up.”Bianca said anxiously.“I hope she didn't hear what we had discussed because if she does, we are doomed. You know how words fly in this pack like a plague…”The rest of Nina’s words vanished as they approached the entrance door. I sighed in relief, patting my chest for not being caught. Those girls were idiots, if they'd stayed there for long, I would have decided to let them know it was me. A few minutes later, a waitress came again but before she could tap my shoulder again, I turned around.“Those ladies are regulars here and I can tell you, they are up to no good.”She sighed, shaking her head. She looked like she knew something about them.“Oh…you mean them?”I pointed at th

  • Return Of The Alpha Heiress    Finding the truth

Aria’s POVI didn't hear that wrong, did I? Kael definitely said I can't trust Bianca. Why? If he was also suspecting her, why keep her as his assistant? Unless he was pulling my leg. “She has no family members…”He paused, looking at me.“So she has nothing to lose.” So if I shouldn't trust her, why did he still have her working in his company? And not just an ordinary position but his assistant? Was he keeping her so close to himself to keep an eye on her? I was confused yet Kael didn't look like he would give me any deep explanation for that. “Then fire her.”“I can't.”He said, his brows raised. “What if she is a bad person? You said I shouldn't trust her.”Kael didn't say another word; he only waved his hand and sat in front of the mirror. Since I couldn't sit there wasting time, as he wouldn't answer me again, I got up and left the room.Since I had already gotten the address of where they would meet, I went to bed wishing tomorrow would come like a blink of an eye. The n

  • Return Of The Alpha Heiress    The suspicion

Aria's POVKyra didn't even look regretful of what she had said nor did she look scared. She stood there in full confidence, glaring at Bianca. “Why did you say that?”I asked Kyra after waving to Bianca to go back to her seat. “Because I have a feeling that she is a bad one and is planning evil for you.”“Are you out of your mind?”I snapped at her, shutting her up.“I didn't call any of you here to insult one another, I only called you here because you are my new assistant, Kyra.” I wasn't taking sides but that was too far. If Bianca were a bad person, Kael wouldn't have employed her as his personal assistant. “I apologize, Alpha Aria, but…”“You can go. I think Bianca and I will round this up alone.”I sent her out and turned to Bianca who was still angry.“Ignore her.”She nodded, inhaling and exhaling deeply.“She doesn't know what she is saying, Alpha Aria, please do not involve her in this again.”Bianca wasn't in a position to tell me who to involve in my business or what

  • Return Of The Alpha Heiress    Her new tactic

Aria’s POVThat morning came with a shock that nearly cost me my breath. When Jace told me that he was going to reclaim his position, I thought he was joking. I never knew he was serious about it or capable of reclaiming it. His uncle was a dangerous person and rumors had it that he was planning to make his son the heir to the throne. What amused me was Jace ascending the throne the next day after his cousin was killed in an attack. Anyways, my curiosity didn't last for long because as soon as I logged into the media, everyone was talking about the incident. They said the Supreme Alpha, Jace’s uncle, sent thugs to take Jace’s life but they ended up taking his daughter’s life. I didn't need to be told that the daughter who sacrificed her life for Jace was the same lady the little lady was talking about the day I visited. Her obsession with Jace made her sacrifice her life for him? That was stupid. That was something I would never do for love. Everyone has a dream to fulfill and

  • Return Of The Alpha Heiress    Reclaiming the throne

Jace’s POVGasps echoed in the air from the crowd present there.“Selene followed me because she knew you guys had sent someone to shoot me. She took the bullet to save me!”So that was their plan: to take my life and make their son the next heir to the Supreme Alpha’s throne. “That is so bad of them…”Whispers broke out, loud enough for everyone to hear.“They killed their own daughter and are pointing fingers at the Supreme Alpha…”“I know this family had a hidden secret. So they plan to kill the real heir to the throne.”“They want their lazy son to take over as the Supreme Alpha.”As the people spoke, my uncle and his family began acting nervously because they had been caught in the act. “Step down from the throne and let the real heir ascend!”People started shouting, ignoring that we were all in the hospital and would disturb the patients there.“Jace’s father was the supreme Alpha and the reason you were put on the throne was that he was too young to rule!”“Why won't you ste

  • Return Of The Alpha Heiress    Joke on them

Jace’s POV So that was it, that was why his wife didn't want me to enter the meeting hall because I was going to ruin everything for them. But jokes on them, no one dares take what belongs to me.“Are you done blabbing?”I asked, shutting them up.“For your information, nobody can take that position from me because it has been passed down from my great-grandfather to my grandfather and to my father so basically, it is now my turn…”“Are you out of your mind?”He shouted, pointing his walking stick at me.“I am not, uncle.”The name I called sent shock into his heart, visible on his face. Since I grew up and realized he wasn't my father, I had never once called him ‘uncle’ but that day was different. I was provoked beyond recognition. “You always said that position wasn't on your mind so I trained so hard to take over and now you want it back? You must be out of your mind.”Alex hissed loudly. “That is what I wanted to say to you, Uncle. You can start thinking of descending the thr

  • Return Of The Alpha Heiress    A Loser

Aria’s POVSnap!I nearly burst into heart-cooling laughter when Kael dropped that bomb on Lana. But there was no way I could do that without getting my share from him.“Is this what you guys have resorted to doing?”She flared up, tears gathering in her eyes.“I used to be the favorite one here, b

  • Return Of The Alpha Heiress    Jace's Misfortune

Aria’s POV“Check me out,”I stood in front of the mirror and hovered my hands on my tiny waist. Thanks to the goddess for blessing me with curves. The tight gown revealed my figure eight so well that even my enemy would want to have a taste of me.“Are you sure about this?”Liza asked, her tone ha

  • Return Of The Alpha Heiress    A good way for a payback

Aria’s POVWhat am I? A go-getter? Jace had no idea what he was talking about. “Perhaps, did someone tell you I was waiting for you?” “Oh, not at all, mate.” Gosh! This is unbearable. “You rejected me, Jace. You humiliated me in front of…”He placed a finger on my lips, smiling like an idiot. “H

  • Return Of The Alpha Heiress    Jace’s Return

Aria's POV "Are you ready, Aria?"I nodded at the face of my new assistant, Alice. There was a lot of noise where we were so I didn't bother speaking. We were at an event hosted by my brothers. Kael had themed it: UNVEILING BLOODMOON'S LEADER. I heard his speech as we waited backstage. He ha
