Chapter Thirteen

Alpha Issac was listing off the names of different packs he thought I originally came from but none of them sounded familiar to me. I was an infant when we joined the Westford Pack. Our pack was situated almost dead centre of the state. There were packs every way we turned. There was only once road that followed the boarders of every pack and we called that the safe zone. When on that road you were untouchable. My parents must have travelled on that road to get here but from which direction they came was a mystery.

“What about Forest Grove Pack?” Alpha Issac says, staring down at the map on his desk.

“Nope,” I reply. Another unknown checked off the list.

“Evertree?” Jordan asks, reading from a list. I shake my head before resting it on my fist propped up on the side of the leather chair.

“Beaufort Pack?” Alpha Issac guesses, uncertainty crossing his face as he looks up at me.

“Afraid not.”
