Chapter 4: A Sudden Question

"I feel like Snow White in this." Bianca stated as she was sitting in a big log prop as she's being surrounded by deers and rabbits. She's already in a casual attire that they bought right after they finish eating at the restaurant. Chase is standing behind a professional photographer he called after their lunch.

"Sorry for requesting such a ridiculous request but also thank you so much for complying to it. Because you do remind me of Snow White." Chase apologize but he did not feel any form of regret for asking such request. He really thought that Bianca would turn it down but he is having so much fun right now that he get to make his imagination earlier into a reality. He even get to capture the sight, immortalizing it through photos.

"What nonsense are you talking about? I'm not even that white." Bianca pointed out, she checked herself out if she really does resemble the popular fictional princess but no matter how much she thinks about it, she just cannot see it.

"You may not be as white as snow but your soft and gentle face does make you look like the princess." Bianca blushes at this comment and the photographer captured her where she looks the cutest. Chase immediately requested this photo to be sent to him without any edits.

"Don't you think it's a bit unfair for me to be in front of the camera alone? If I'm here as Snow White, shouldn't you also dressed up as her Prince?" Bianca suggested but Chase shook his head in refusal, this made the young woman pout which made Chase encouraged the photographer to take more photos. "You told me that you'll bring me to a petting zoo but we haven't done any petting of animals. Aren't these poor creatures with me here sensitive to flashes?" Bianca was getting tired of sitting pretty for the camera.

"Alright, alright, you win. We'll stop this, do you have anything else you wanted to do?" Chase tapped the photographer to leave. He slowly walked towards Bianca while the petting zoo staffs was taking the animals involved back.

"I'm not implying that we should leave this place, what I'm trying to say is that let's enjoy ourselves in the petting zoo and don't just enjoy yourself turning me into a model." Bianca continued to pout at him. Chase chuckled and it can be seen that his cheeks was faintly blushed. He admits that he was enjoying himself.

"Should we go to a photoshoot studio tomorrow for our date? I could have our outfits ready and once the photo session is done, should we go ahead and act in character for the rest of the day?" Chase suggested.

"You're letting your nerdy side show, Mr. Billionaire." Bianca laughed softly and Chase was smiling nervously with her. He thought she is turning him down but Bianca once again spoke up. "But sure, that sounds like fun." This made Chase to smile widely.

"Are there any animals you'd like to feed?" Chase asked when they walked away from their photoshoot area.

"Let's go sit by the lake feeding the ducks." Bianca excitedly answered. After acquiring the feeds, they walked to a bench where plenty of ducks are peacefully swimming around nearby. Bianca immediately tossed a handful of feeds towards the ducks, Chase followed her actions but after a couple of toss, Chase stopped and just stare lovingly at Bianca who was enjoying herself. Not soon after, the girl noticed the man staring at her. She decided to break the silence.

"I've heard that I'm the 47th date, how did the others went?" Bianca asked. "That is if you don't mind me asking."

"I don't mind at all. Well, a lot of them has been good people so I'm thankful that I didn't have to request help from my bodyguards all the time." Chase laugh at it like it is such a ridiculous outcome.

"You had girls get escorted by your guards?" Bianca asked in disbelief. She cannot imagine such a scene. It must have been so humiliating, she she thought.

"Yes, most of those girls attempted to touch me in not a friendly manner." Chase shared like it is not a big deal.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry for asking about that." Bianca stopped tossing duck feeds to turn in Chase's way to express how apologetic she is.

"Don't be, nothing happened anyway. I predicted that something like that would happen that's why I heightened my security before starting this dating list." He smiled at how adorable Bianca is being.

"That's smart. No offense, but I really assumed that billionaires like you would take such advances. I guess, I should stop categorizing people." She sigh at the end for how disappointing she must have been to think such way.

"I don't know about the other billionaires but at least I'm not like that. I even had some of my dates turn me down after learning that I'm still a virgin." He waited and watch for Bianca's reaction about that information.

"Eh? What? Really?" Bianca's eyes widen and her voice volume turned up in disbelief that the ducks nearby got startled. Chase burst into laughter. "Are you sure that you should be telling me that?" She adjust back her volume.

"There's nothing for me to feel ashamed about that fact. Call me conservative and other insulting names, I really don't see a problem about that. Well, I do feel shy to tell the reason."

"What's the reason? You're waiting for the one to take your virginity?" Chase blushes as Bianca hit the bingo and Bianca's eyes widen again for the second time now. "Wait, really?" She asked quietly trying to avoid startling the ducks. Chase nodded turning red even more. Bianca covered half of her face to hide her blushing cheeks and to mumbled "That's so damn cute."

"Let's change the topic. Tell me more about yourself." Chased said feeling embarrassed enough.

"I like your face. Did you know that when you smile genuinely, your eyes don't squint equally? Your left eye becomes smaller than your right eye. I find that so adorable. But when you smile nervously, your dimple appears deeper? It makes you look cuter." She decided to tease the man one last time.

"I said, let's talk about yourself. Stop teasing me with compliments."

"Alright, I'll stop. Just ask me questions you want to know. My mind goes blank if I try to think what I can tell you."

Chase went quiet to think about it before speaking. "Do you believe in love at first sight?" He asked with hopeful eyes.

"I don't know, it never happened to me before."

"How will it make you feel if I tell you that I fell for you at first sight?"

"I like how you're always so honest. How would I feel? I would feel honored. Falling in love typically requires a lot effort but if I can make you fall in love with me by just looking at your way, then that makes me really happy." Bianca said a well constructed answer.

"Then you wouldn't mind if I'll ask you to officially be my girlfriend?" Chase finally popped the question he has been meaning to ask ever since at the restaurant. Bianca was shocked, she cannot believe that a heir of a successful technology company would ask that to a girl he barely know.

"Aren't there still people on your list? Aren't you going to give them a chance?" Bianca asked to force Chase to think more about his question.

"I didn't have those list to have an option, I had those list to find the one, which is you. Now that I finally found the one, there's really no more point to clear the list."

"Are you really sure about this? The day hasn't ended yet."

"I am serious."

"But this is too sudden for me."

"Then how about we go through the 3 day dates like the initial plan and tell me your decision by then?" Bianca gave up, there no hope in talking sense to this man so she nodded in defeat.

Before the sun could set, Chase dropped off Bianca back to her home. At the entrance, there was Mr. Ada waiting for his daughter. He exchanged pleasantries with Chase before saying farewells and taking his daughter in.

"How did it went?" Mr. Ada asked. It was not in a tone of a loving father. It was in a voice of a boss demanding a report from his employee. The optimistic girl that Bianca has been showing Chase all day was untraceable on her face.

"He told me that he fell in love with me at first sight and that he's not going to go through everyone in the list as he's planning to ask me to be his official girlfriend at the last day of our 3 day date." She reported.

"Good job. It wouldn't be long until he'll ask you to marry him." Mr. Ada put on an evil grin like of those scheming villians. The girl does not know his entire plan, all she knows is that she is doomed if everything had gone south from his plan.

"Shouldn't you focus on finding Bianca before that ever happens?"

"Don't you worry, fake Bianca. We will find the real Bianca and you'll get your pay and everything you've requested. Once you tie the knot with Chase, we'll replace you with the real Bianca and you'll finally be free to go but until then, I asked of you to do your job well."

"Yes, father."
