Chapter 171: Trouble Arises

After Karl arrived, the three of them spent nearly half an hour drinking before leaving. Isabella refused Karl and Sophia's offer to accompany her and stumbled out of the door to hail a taxi. Under the streetlights, Sophia and Karl wore expressions of sadness as they watched the taxi drive away.
