CHAPTER 5

Shex and Mera were outside and around the corner so they saw Lex and Kar leave together. They turned and smiled at each other, knowing that they would be alright. But they still needed to get to the Hall of Records so that they could research Lex’s dreams to find a connection between them and her energy drain. They talked amongst themselves and decided that they also needed to figure out if Kar was having dreams as well and if he was, why they weren’t draining his energy.

At the Hall of Records, they searched for hours to find the right scrolls. Once they had it took another couple of hours to find the scroll that talked about the dreams. There were at least 6 different scrolls that mentioned the dreams and 12 more that went more into depth about the dreams and the dreamers. They decided to divide the scrolls that had the most information about the dreamers. Shex had the two that talked about the “Male Descendant” and Mera had the two that talked about the “Female Descendant
