Divorce

Jayden, Dean and James arrive home the next day just as me and mum have finished breakfast.

‘Any chance there is leftovers’ James asks cheekily 

‘Sure honey it’s staying hot in the oven I thought you boys would be hungry when you got back i will get it for you’ mum replies 

‘You are an angel’ Dean says

As my mum turns with the plates Jayden shouts ‘what the f**k happened to your face’ 

I suppose we will have to talk about it at some point its not like my mum could hide the black eye my dad gave her.

‘You should see the other guy’ she laughs

‘This isn’t a joke what the he.ll happened’ Jayden looks like he’s about to explode now.

‘Sit down eat and we will explain’ I said. So once they all had their food I told them about when I left them seeing my dad, talking to mum, her messaging dad then his visit to finally him hitting her and me storming in and breaking his nose to give him double black eyes to mum’s one. 

I then ask them if they would mind dropping his stuff off at the house so none of us have to see him again and find out the best place to send the divorce papers and get them to remind him we have proof of his affair so not to bother arguing on the divorce.

They agree to do it and not harm him, but said they will be putting in a few threats so that we are left alone. 

I am totally fine with that I never want to see him again, I hate to think what I might do to him if he was in front of me right now. 

We decide they will drop his sh.it off in two days before they head home that should give us enough time to pack everything up.

We spent the last two days at home spending time with each other and mum helping her with dad’s stuff to make it easier on her, we also got her a lawyer the next day to draft up a divorce agreement, so they can get him to sign it when they ‘talk’ to him, she’s not asking for much, the house and a quarter of the savings to get herself started so he shouldn’t complain he’s getting off lightly. 

They will drop off the papers to the lawyer’s on the way past once it’s signed then that him out of our life for good Jayden is going to call when it’s all done to let me know how it went.

‘I can’t believe it’s time for you to go already its passed so quickly’

‘I know know Tails, it always does but we can talk whenever you want, and I will be back as soon as I can, I’m not sure when because I will be really busy this year with training and school for taking over the family business next year but call anytime’

We give each other a huge hug then the two idiots both grab me for a hug at the same time.

‘See you all later drive safe let us know you got home’ mum says

‘We will, bye Evelyn, bye Talia’ they reply 

‘Bye guys’

That’s them gone hopefully everything goes well. 

I get the call an hour later my dad by all accounts wasn’t too happy to be handed all his stuff and divorce papers, he wasn’t going to sign at first but after a firm talk with the boys the papers were signed and they were on their way. 

I am so glad it’s over hopefully he knows not to try and come here or try and contact us he can’t possibly be that stupid.

Thankfully he wasn’t I heard through the grapevine about three months later he put in a transfer at work and moved to another town at least we don’t have to worry about him any more that was six months ago now, things have been good. My mum is so much happier and healthier, she has put the weight back on and she smiles and laughs so much more now. 

The house is a much brighter and happier place now he is no longer bringing down the mood. My 16 birthday is in two days me an mum are having a spa and shopping day, I know totally not me but I’m getting a bit more girly. 

There have been a few changes in me I’m now 5f 8 and finally curves have appeared, puberty didn’t miss me after all who would have thought I would end up with an hourglass figure I certainly didn’t I would have laughed at you if you would have told me. 

So that’s why I’m going for the make over none of my clothes really work with my new shape and I actually want to look feminine and sexy. My mum looked so happy I don’t think she knew what to do with a daughter who acted like a son so she can’t wait to teach me makeup and hair stuff I’m equally excited and terrified at the same time.
